So my boys at college recently just dropped a rap video and they want me to help promote so I thought I would start with Tnation first. You all are a bunch of nice guys right? Anyways neither one of them has any previous experience with music or video editing they just on a whim decided to do this over spring break. Please check their video out on youtube and like it or dislike it.

Catchy hook. I didn’t like it, but it sticks. It will be better with better production.
Needs some serious production work though, and the second dude needs, without question, to work on his enunciation.

The video wasn’t “terrible.” The rap and beat were.

Thats a beat from Kanye West. He didn’t think it was too terrible. Its clearly not a studio produced song. But for two college kids with no money and hardly any spare time they deserve to be applauded for their efforts. You are obviously a tight ass. The video was meant to be humorous. No one is looking for a record deal here.

Promote what joutmez? This is monotone rap and sounds horrible. Monotone rap just sounds too amateur if not done by an established artist. It isn’t great, but for a jump off, there is some promise. Second dude I don’t know though. I listen to a lot fo hip hop and if I have to strain or listen 3 or 4 times just to understand the first 3 bars, he has some work to do.
