LOL

I wasn’t referring to outliers… In my life, the richest people I know have little to no formal education. Furthermore it would seem that those pursuing high education are often some of the dimmest people I know - needing guidance to make money. You can sell anything… I know a guy who is filthy fucking rich selling tomatoes… Another guy who has more money then he can spend and his legal source of income is as a union worker… Another who owns a restaurant… Started with dirty money. I can go on and on. I’m certainly not talking about outliers.

However, to clarify, I’m certainly not putting down college as an institution. One can certainly learn a lot there. And if done wisely it can be a good investment for future income.

Some people go to college because they need the degree to do any work whatsoever in the field. I’m studying Engineering right now, and, while someone with no degree at all could indeed find the fluid permittivity constant of aerogel for example, they would still need to do some studying on the topic to figure it out. Hence college.

Also, the raaaaaaage part of college is fun as well.

Yes and that sums your knowledge about education quite well. Only reason to go to school is to make more money.

I dont think theres anything ironic about some students going to college to learn subjects that fascinate them for other than monetary reasons. Also making friends with students that share similar interests is also cool. Everything doesnt have to be about maxprofit or getting wasted.
