Max, I have seen some Bowl projections with SC and OU in the Sun Bowl. What do you think?

Yeah, I watched that game too. OSU will have to play much better to beat OU in Norman. I would assume they will have Robinson back by then.

If I bet on college football…

As bad as our defense is playing, I think OU could have their way with us. Basically fuck us in the ass with no Vasoline. Unless our offense can score enough and win 55-52 or some crazy shit like that.

You give OU’s offense too much credit. Away from Norman, they have played very poorly offensively. If this matchup actually happened I could see a 21-17 type game.

See, e.g., the game today. Ugh!

I was going to point this out at halftime, but I wanted to give them a chance.

The inept offense doesn’t surprise me, it’s the poor play of the defense that I can’t figure out.

GO BUCKEYES! Not a dominant win, but they rolled the Wolverines in their own house in one of the biggest rivalry games in all of college football. Terrel Pryor has plenty of things to work on, but I still think he has a high ceiling if he can start learning. The Buckeyes also had some pretty sick threads on today as Nike tossed the throwback scheme on some of their most technologically advanced jerseys. Nice.

Muck Fichigan! Way to screw up 6 times in a row!!

Go Bucks!!!

Goddamn Oklahoma! What an embarrassing game, 41-13 to fucking Texas Tech.

I think this is on the same level of suck as the loss to SC in 2005.

Stoops has a lot of work to do.

I feel for you Sooners. Have they not being get top recruits from TX anymore?

Seriously…what the hell is up?

Must be nice for Alabama and Florida to have had scrimmages scheduled this late in the season.

Actually, the incoming recruiting class is said to be one of Stoops’ best, including some Texans. Their record hasn’t seemed to effect recruiting.

I think the biggest problem is injuries. OU lost yet another starter today (on the offensive line). That will make 6 starers out for the season and 12 total that have missed games.

Very true…and the O-Line wasn’t the greatest coming into the season. They will be back strong next year.

So, It must feel good to lose the rivalry game…cuz Michigan just keeps doing it! lmao

High fivin Buckeye Nation!!

Proudly rockin my boy Archie Griffin jersey on MICHIGAN’s campus all night!

anyone in Michigan near this pathetic school pm, i’ll send you my location and we’ll finish tearin shit up

O-H-I-O!!!

As an diehard OU fan, I’m very disappointed in this year’s team. I understand injuries adding up really hurts the team, but I think there’s more to it than that. A few things:

  1. When we leave Norman, we forget how to play football (every loss on road or neutral site)
  2. We don’t know how to win close games, or how to play from behind (4 losses by 12 points combined)
  3. Stoops NEVER makes second half adjustments, even if we’re losing (NEVER)
  4. Not stopping teams on third and long, allowing them to convert first downs (VERY annoying to watch this constantly every game)
  5. Pass D is atrocious as always, which sucks, because we bring in top-level talent every year, yet the guys don’t produce (I blame the coaching staff). Our run D looked surprisingly horrible today v. Tech.

I think the issue is deeper than wins and losses. I personally think the players have lost faith in the coaches, and vice versa. Stoops looks like he doesn’t care, neither does Venables (our DC). Seems like Stoops is looking for greener pastures (e.g. Notre Dame) and isn’t as vocal and animated as year’s past and not getting in the players faces trying to get them motivated. Seems like the team, top to bottom, has packed it in for the season. When I saw the guys on the sideline today, this reminded of the 2005 Orange Bowl, when USC throttled us. I was at that game and saw the team come up in the second half, all with their heads down. At that point, I knew we lost (even though we were already way behind to start the second half anyways) but just the way the players carried themselves was bad.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a Sooner fan for life through and through, but it’s tough to watch the team this year.

My apologies for coming to this thread so late in the season, didn’t realize it was here.

Clemson’s headed to the ACC Title game and OSU beat Michigan in Ann Arbor. Another good Saturday.

Really enjoyed the giant “WE LOVE COACH RODRIQUEZ” banner some OSU fans were holding in the upper deck.

Clemson’s defense needs to get on the ball before next week. I think fatigue and injuries are starting to really take their toll. We need to get that fixed ASAP given that we have South Carolina and GT in the next two weeks and both of those teams will exploit a weakened defense if given the chance.

CJ Spiller is obviously not running as hard as he was earlier in the season. We need to start using Jaime Harper, Andre Ellington, Jacoby Ford, and Rendrick Taylor a little more and give CJ a break. We have far too many talented receivers and backs to let one guy take all of the beating.

Today was the first time since the dark days of the '90’s that I saw an OU team just show up, meekly take their beating, and go home. And this to a Texas Tech team that was only 6-4 before today.

Tmoney is dead-on. There are some serious issues with this team and coaching staff that go far beyond the injuries.

I’ve either watched, attended, or listened to every single OU game of the Stoops era, and this was the first one I’ve walked out half-way through thinking “If you guys don’t care enough to play hard, I don’t care enough to watch.” I turned it off early in the 3rd and went hunting.

Froggies TCB, as did Clemson. UT is handling Kansas. WTH happened to OU?

Arizona/Oregon game looks like is going into overtime. Cal beat Stanford. Pac-10 looking weird as usual.
