That was actually a game that lived up to the hype, flat out epic game. I just don’t see how USC hasn’t figured out how to stop a running quarterback like that, hell Vince Young in that game and then against Dennis Dixon back in 07 and now the new Oregon QB in 09. I just don’t get it, a defense with those kind of athletes should be able to stop a mobile quarterback.

I can agree with the shootout. I personally love defense and running game. If I didn’t grow up loving Texas I would be a SEC fan. Matchup makes games. That is what the bowls are supposed to do.

It was also a game built up as David vs Goliath, with Miami favored by double digits (I want to say it was 14), which in a National Championship game is pretty rare. Everyone said OSU had no chance even though they pulled all sorts of games out of their ass during the season.
It was one of the few games I really wished I had bet on because I knew OSU would cover.

I agree with your statement, but people who have not played football just think it is a group hug.
