College football 2013

My Trojans beat Stanford, in a game for the ages.

All I have to say is wow to the ending of that Georgia vs. Auburn game. That was one of the most improbably hail marys that I have seen.

Congrats

Max, why would they not offer the current coach the job?

They really want Del Rio?

If I had to guess, maybe because Pat Haden thinks he can get someone better, like a Del Rio.

But what the turnaround shows, is not so much the coach who looks good on paper, but the coach who motivates the kids to play.

These kids are dealing with injuries, 3rd year of sanctions, and the firing of their head coach mid-season, and they are still winning big games.

I would give it to Coach O.

Yea it would seem like this is the best “resume” you can ask for.

Del Rio has not coached college ball as far as I can remember, so why would you take that chance he may suck?

I heard Sumlin is at the top of the list.

I’ve also heard the rumors that Sumlin and Del Rio are the top choices with Gruden being the dream/wish guy but that’ll never happen.

I love what coach O has done in his time and I’m excited that he has said he would like to stay on with SC after this season even if he isn’t offered the HC spot. He’s a great coach, the kids love him and he’s a good recruiter. Even if he isn’t the head coach he will be a valuable asset to the new coach.

If he wins out or wins 2 of the next 3 I think they would have to give him a long hard look. Imagine if he manages to turn this team around and win the Pac12? Goes to a rose bowl… Hell, what it he could WIN the rose bowl? No way he doesn’t get the job in that case IMO

^^i know that’s a lot of what ifs and very wishful thinking on the part of a life long die hard USC fan.

LOL Florida.

It looks like there will be some spots moving around in the BCS this week after some key games.

Arizona destroyed Oregon.

Oklahome State destroyed Baylor.

LSU beat Texas A&M.

ASU beat UCLA.

Rivalry week this week, good shit.

Bama vs Auburn. Might be the game of the year next weekend.

Alabama might have to knock off two one loss teams in a row if Missouri ends up winning next week and plays Alabama in the SEC title game.

I hope that auburn beats Bama, michigan state beats Ohio State and then FSU’s season is nullified due to the rapes.

BCS chaos in its final season. Everyone would go nuts, there would be mayhem… It would be glorious.

Haha, in that case I think Auburn would make it in and I wouldn’t mind that game at all.

Haha, no way. Those teams shouldn’t even be in a BCS game. My school SDSU barely lost to Fresno State and they are pretty mediocre. I know you are kidding, but still, haha.

Well you got to give it to Michigan. They went for the win and came so close. Also, Ohio State is so overrated.

THAT JUST HAPPENED.

Edit: This is actually like worst case scenario for OSU. I know it seems like it should be hype city because we might got to the BCS Champ game now, but our secondary is fucking atrocious, and FSU will tear it apart. I actually feel like a game vs 'Bama would’ve been fantastic, but FSU’s style is terrifying(for our team).
