Yeah. And they totally ignore Oregon State too. Sean Mannion is the #1 QB in the country and Brandon Cooks is the #1 receiver after 5 games. That deserves some love in my book, but I’m a total homer.
Ripsaw,
Are you an OSU guy? Got to meet some of the fans when the Beavers played the Frogs at Jerry World a few years back. I was very impressed w the turnout. Was also pleasantly surprised at how many fans you brought to Ft Worth for a baseball regional. The Beavers thumped the Aggies twice. Does not seem that long ago but every player on that Frog team has graduated or moved on. OSU has a classy fan base.
Yeah I grew up as a Beaver fan and graduated from OSU as well. OSU prides themselves on being much classier than Oregon fans. The alumni from OSU also strongly reflects that as well due to strong science/engineering programs.
I’m down with FSU making it to the title game if they win out. The one team I don’t want to see in it is Ohio State. Talk about an overrated team. Their conference and schedule sucks.

Who would you have rated ahead of OSU?

Baylor could pass them up at the end if they win out since it looks like their opponents are a little tougher. Toughest team Ohio State has played was Wisconsin. They only played two ranked teams and Northwestern shouldn’t really count since they lost what like five games in a row.
As long as Alabama and FSU win out it will clearly be them in the BCS championship game. I think it would be a good game. If one of them loses and Ohio State makes it in I see them being the Notre Dame of last years game.

Too bad Stanford blew it In that Utah game.
I think a Stanford Vs Bama game would be really good. Actually, any combo of Bama, FSU and Stanford would be good.
I’m with everyone else… As long as Ohio State doesn’t squeak in there and lay an egg like they always do I think it’ll be a good ge this year.
I agree, but Stanford will have their hands full with my Trojans next week. We are looking strong, getting better each week. I am going to call a Stanford loss right now.

That would be awesome! I’ve been a SC fan my whole life and would love nothing more than to smash Stanford so we’ll see.
How do you feel about Orgeron? I like him. I think he’s an insane long shot to keep the job but I like what he’s done so far.

I don’t know him, but from what I see, I like a guy like this.
The kids seem to really love playing for him, they are having fun and it’s kinda looking like the fire they had with Pete Carroll.
I hope he gets serious consideration for the job, especially if we win out.

People still so bitter over shit that happened 6 years and 2 coaches ago.
Haha, you gotta admit they have a cupcake schedule this year. They even scheduled my Alma mater SDSU to play them this year and we suck.

Oh my mistake I must have missed the part where Gregorn made a point about schedule strengths when he was complaining about Stanford losing to Utah which might be the window OSU uses to play in the title game.
I didn’t say anything about OSU’s schedule, whether or not they should be in the title game, who they may or may not be better than, all I did was poke at how clearly bitter people are that they lost 41-17 to Florida 6 years ago.

With how much hype Winston had coming into the season, it’s crazy to think that he’s actually exceeded expectations, he is one unreal looking freshman.
Florida has looked shitty lately but that’s still a rivalry game in the swamp, if they don’t tumble there though I see them destroying the ACC title game and rolling into the BCS National Championship.

I really like FSU this year but I keep waiting for them to be the FSU from recent memory that we all love/hate and cough up a game that they have no business losing. This would be a great year for a playoff, although one team that deserved a shot would probably be left out.
Who would you guys put up in a 4 team playoff right now?? I would say #1 Bama vs #4 Baylor and #2 FSU vs #3 OSU. I took out Stanford because of that one loss and Baylor has handled business the best they could against a cupcake schedule.
