Whoa everybody, CBS Sports is saying that the National Champs will come out of the SEC!!!
CBS Sports, you know, the network who has the monopoly on SEC games btw.

Oh but wait, the author (Dennis Dodd) is saying that even if Bama, LSU, Georgia, and the Gamecocks aren’t in the mix, Arkansas has a shot. Arkansas who just lost their head coach in a bout of scandal… has a shot for the National title because they’re playing bama and war eagle at home (as per the author).
What the fuck dude.
When the hell are writers going to smarten up and realize that the Dawgs are never again going to sniff the fucking National Championship (as long as Richs is there) and that the Gamecocks are a NOVELTY long as the Ol’ Ball Coach is visoring up the sidelines?
It’s also mentioned that the Pac-12 will probably have USC not in the championship because it’ll have to beat Oregon twice to get there. Tall order.
It also said that the Big 10 won’t have a chance because there’s too much parity in the conference.
Parity. The one thing the SEC really takes pride in is it’s competition week in and week out, yet when the Big 10 starts to look like it’s got at least 5 teams that could battle for a chance at the Big 10 Championship it’s by proxy shooting itself in the foot.
Fuck that.
Know what was a fun bowl to watch last year?
The Rose Bowl. Wisconsin V Oregon, a slingfest knock’em out fast as fuck contest with zero championship implications nationally.
We all know how the National Championship game was in terms of action.
Anyway…
To me, the up and comer is the Big 10. They have 4 teams ranked in the top 25, could possibly have 5 or 6 by week two. They beat each others heads in and the conference Championship will more than likely be another bloodbath like Michigan State-Wisconsin was last year. There really is no reason why a Big 10 school won’t be in the national championship conversation, so ultimately, after all of this ^^^.
Dennis Dodd is wrong…
