Either bamers or bulldogs are OK with me so long as the winner beats the domers
Just saw OU beat my Frogs 24-17. I was very impressed with their O-line, RB, and D-Lines. Having seen both them, and K State, I think OU is the class of the Big 12. I have always liked OU and appreciated them playing us in a number of sports, especially when that bunch from Austin has ducked us for years. After the whipping we put on them Thanksgiving night it looks like that was a good idea.
Need to get home to see rest of Bama game.
How much pussy do you think Johnny Football gets?
the defacto national championship game in atlanta is now over.
Holy hell Huskers got ripped. Well done Wisconsin.
La Tech turns down bowl invite? WTH?
The Big 10 has now lost ALL its magic…
Bringing in all these gay ass teams
Ruined
Bringin in Nebraska ruined you?

This totally fucks Stanford over. Now they get the worst team to ever play in the Rose Bowl out of the Big 10 instead of Nebraska, which would have been a bogus matchup for Stanford anyways. How does the Pac-12 champion end up playing in a bowl game against a team that wasn’t even ranked two days ago? The BCS system has completely ruined the traditional matchups in the Rose Bowl the last 5-10 years so why even bother with it anymore.
I’m telling you guys, Stanford can hang with anything the SEC has to offer. If they aren’t going to have a legit playoff system then why not at least try to get the best matchups possible in the big bowl games instead of this slavish adherence to tradition that ends up pitting the #6 team in the country who won arguably the second-best conference in football against some dog shit team like Wisconsin? How about Stanford vs. Georgia or Florida?
They should just put the top 10 teams into the Rose, Sugar, Fiesta and Orange Bowls, plus the title game, and let them duke it out, rather than some of these bullshit #5 vs. #12 or #6 vs. #18 matchups that we seem to get every year. If they aren’t going to use a real playoff I don’t see why they can’t at least make some attempt to get some cross-conference bowl games featuring two top-10 teams banging away at each other.
Here are the matchups I’d like to see. I used the top 12 to give the #9 and 10 teams a game against a non-conference foe since they’re both in the SEC.
#1 ND vs #2 Alabama
#3 Florida vs #4 Oregon
#5 Kansas State vs. #8 LSU
#6 Stanford vs. #7 Georgia
#9 Texas A&M vs. #11 Oklahoma
#10 South Carolina vs. #13 Oregon State

These would make for some very interesting matchups. Too bad it doesn’t work this way.

This makes more sense. As it is now, I believe Texas A&M (#9) will play Oklahoma (#11) in the Cotton Bowl.

Yea and almost all of the BCS bowl matchups are a freaking joke, other than the Fiesta Bowl
I don’t know if anyone posted this, but think about how close we were to some bullshit national championship with Notre Dame and Ohio State.

What would all the douche haters do with that game?

I don’t know. I don’t want to even think about it. The OSU scandal had to be an act of God to prevent this from happening.

Can’t wait to see the ripping we get from Georgia in the Capital One Bowl.
I think I will skip that game.

Ohio State is ineligible for postseason play. We didn’t come close at all to that game, thank God.
If they don’t get popped by the NCAA then Tressel never gets fired/resigns and they probably don’t go undefeated as a result.
ROLL TIDE!!! That’s all I gotta say ![]()
