That would be amazing.
Bama was slow in the beginning but they finished fine and have had identical scores against same teams played with LSU. It should be a great game. Regardless of who wins this game is going to be epically physical.
Also just for note. Tennessee was our closest game to a loss in our 2009 championship year. SEC games can go either way, we can be undefeated and still lose to auburn. SEC schools will fight you to the end even if they are 2-7

I hear that. We were supposed to crush Ole Miss yesterday, instead we had one hell of a fight as the Rebels finally showed up to play.
it probably wont, but there is no reason it shouldnt, ALABAMA and LSU are by far the best schools this year. Who is the winner on Nov 5 going to play? OSU? Boise? Honestly it will be a massacre but i hope some how boise gets to the game, i hate boise and would love to see them get that SEC D-stain

Next week, Stanford.
You excited to see what a real Pac-12 team looks like? One that doesn’t cheat or get put on probation, attends one of the top universities in the world, has the top QB in the nation, and will be ranked number four?

not going to happen.
And who is there to challenge Alabama or LSU?
As I pointed out in my post above where I mentioned that same thing, they’re in the same division. That means one of them can’t even be in the conference championship. No way will they have the value over a 1 loss champion of another conference(thinking Big12 this year, but Oregon/Stanford 1 loss out of the Pac-12 would do it, and probably MSU/Wisconsin if either of them run the rest of the Big10 table).
MAYBE, and it would be a longshot, South Carolina wins the rest of their games(Arkansas, Clemson, would be huge boosts in poll and computer score) and then beats LSU/Bama in SEC Champ game->Loser drops from #1-#2, South Carolina moves up to #1.
Problem with that scenario is that I don’t see LSU/Bama losing to anyone that isn’t LSU/Bama, and that’s the only way it could happen.

I know that under the current set up there wouldnt be a national championship with two from the same conference, but if by the end of the year the two best teams remain who they are, it seems to me that it is absurd that they shouldnt be in the title game.

WTH happened to OU? Was totally pulling for them.
UNM is the worst college football team I have ever seen. We set a number of records against them.
Bama was asleep for a half, they must serve Starbux at halftime. The LSU game should be one for the ages.
They came out flat after the 1.5 hr weather delay. Then they played like shit for most of the game. Then the kicker missed a couple. Then we played like shit some more. Then we didn’t totally play like shit, but there was no time left. Then we lost.
Any other questions?
Yeah, I’m probably still hungover.
Of course, I’m always happy to lose during the season, when we play like that. I’d much rather the team’s weaknesses be exposed during the season than during a BCS game.
Now I just have to hope that EVERYONE loses. Except Boise. They can win out, and then I’ll giggle when it’s two one-loss teams in the BCS championship game.
