I have no clue how LSU ends up #4. Who knows which Jordan Jefferson will show up…it is all based off of history eventhough it has little to do with present reality. At least week 1 we’ll get some top 5 shake up with Oregon #3 vs LSU #4.

Either way, I am freakin’ ready!
My company is based out of BR and my boss has season tickets with his family. He is inviting me to the LSU and Florida game. They have the big 200,000 RV that is all decked out for tail gating etc. I am pumped to see the game and tail gate.

Funny Ag, funny. So is this the year the A&M turns the corner? Can they take the Big 12/10?
I hope so. It seems like they are almost there but just can’t quite do it. I think they need to stop playing Southeastern Louisianan Technical School for Criminal Mischief and the like at the beginning of the year. Easy wins are soon followed by losses when they meet tough opponents. They need to be read to play their best at the beginning of the year and improve from there.
Unrelated and concerning a old discussion in your log thread; you should try a tri tip cut of steak. Cheaper than strip, lean and very flavorful. I smoked one this past week and was pretty good. Needed a more complex rub/crust, but otherwise pretty quick (only took 1.5 hours for 2 lbs) and quite tasty.

Well I hope they do, since Nebraska is gone (Colorado has sucked for so long nobody cares) we need to make sure that the old south west conference is strong. Doesnt help if we have only a two team race or a one team domination like the Sooners. That is what has made the SEC so tough for a few years now is the strength of the whole conference.
I dont know I have loved sirloin my whole life, only other steak that I will eat is Prime Rib. Filet Mignon is just a part of the sirloin cut and I always have to eat like three of those to get full.
I’m not sold on this OU team. Too many question marks with the interior of the defensive line. The linebackers a few months ago looked pretty stout, but since then Austin Box passed away and I heard today that Travis Lewis is out for 8 weeks from a broken bone in his foot.
I also want to see them improve in the run game, which they were inconsistent in that area last year.

At least their schedule looks manageable.
I don’t know if OU is National Championship quality, but they should be favored in every game they play and may very well make it to the big show. Even without Travis Lewis, I think they beat an overrated Florida State team by 10 points.

The Big XII is not much longer for this world… Even more rumors coming up just today about TAMU bolting to the SEC, which was one of the possibilities people were looking at last year when the conference was in such upheaval. But it’s more intense now, and the Texas schools do not seem to have the unity that they used to.

That game’s scaring the crap out of me because I’m stupidly superstitious and will have to watch it at the same bar I’ve watched OU-Mizzou last year and OU-BYU the preceding year.

That game concerns me simply because OU is playing a non-conference opponent on the road. They tend to play poorly in these games.
I would also expect that last years defeat to OU is still pretty fresh in the minds of the FSU players.

I like how Auburn can win the BCS championship and fall to #19 in the polls, all because Cam Newton went pro.
It more due to the fact they only return like 6 starters. Lost the entire offensive line as well. #19 is low, but they will struggle this year.
