Just take the top eight teams period. No matter who, the end.
Then you have three rounds 8-4-2. Everybody plays the same number of games.
As soon as you start adding qualifiers it gets too fucked up.

I agree. Also take the human element out of the rankings. Too many biased people, use a formula and be done with it.

La Tech came to play, Frogs better wake up![/quote]
Yeah buddy. As my Alma Mater, I was very pleased with how they played. When the schedule came out, I knew we would get soem good national coverage with a stand alone game on ESPN. That was some excellent exposure given their level of play. Honestly, barring that 3rd down pass interference in the end zone I think they would have held on but it wasn’t so.
Dawg nation is proud.

As you should be. I hope Dykes stays there, and that you end up in a good conference. My hat’s off to the bulldog nation for a great showing. It looked on TV like you traveled pretty well to the game. Best of luck to Y’all.
How is La Tech in baseball?
Watch out college football… Barkley is coming back and SC will be a force to be reckoned with next year.

An LSU fan living in LA (Louisiana) thinks you just might be right. I hope we meet there. Maybe settle that 2003 discussion.
Honestly, I daydream often what we could be with a quaterback that caliber. Never thought I’d say it but Congrats.

When I first saw this thread I thought maybe the FBI had knocked on his door.
A&M’s first SEC game is against Florida at home. I am already excited about this.

yeah that would be awesome.
a USC and LSU national championship game would get off the chart ratings!
the SEC seems to always get defensive studs and elite RB’s but where are the really good QB’s? I mean they had Tebow and Newton (stafford I guess too but he wasnt all that great in college) but you would think with the caliber of athlete they attract that they’d be stacked with great QB’s… weird.
oh yeah and… the SEC sucks! Especially Arkansas

That would draw a much better than the game will this year.
I am left thinking that all the time about QBs - what if? I don’t know why it is either. I wonder if it is a philisophical thing by some coaches that pursue higher talent at other skill positions and figure an average QB is good enough. You hand the ball off, make a few throws and don’t turn it over.
LSU just got a high ranking QB recruit committment to go behind Phillip Rivers brother and Metterburger both of which are supposed to be good. Maybe they’ll have some good depth there now. We’ll see.

That made me laugh. Frekin’ Bobby Petrino’s whiny ass.

Maybe it’s because QBs coming out of high school don’t want to go to the SEC because of the defense?
