Cold War x10

We are spatting with china over eaves dropping  like the pot callingthe kettle black

Interesting targets they chose. Allegheny Technologies has all kinds of proprietary info on production of high yield pipe for gas lines.

But yeah, Spying- it’s kinda like beating your kids. You can smack them around all you want but if the guy down the street touches a hair on their precious heads, he should be beaten to a pulp!

This is just a hedge so if the spat over Ukraine goes south, they can recoup the lost natural gas sales to Europe and sell to China instead.

More interestingly, the deal also is not in US dollars, so they have an extra built in inflation hedge built in to go with their recent gold purchases.

Also now we have reason for to over spend for Submarines and all the conventional war tools that were becoming so obsolete in the post cold war era .

Oh, no? The nuclear triad is no longer relevant? What else is obsolete Clauswitz junior?

Don’t worry everyone. The Defense Secretary is working on all the important stuff:

Like it or not, public relations is something high ranking policy makers must engage in. Regardless, Hagel’s efficacy surpasses that of the pseudo-realist Rumsfeld.

Sino-American economic espionage does not constitute the thread’s title.

Can’t you see the insanity of this? China is on the verge of war with Vietnam. A fucking nuclear war could break out over Ukraine. The Middle East is on fire. And Chuck Hagel is trying to recruit transsexuals into the US military? Has he lost his mind?

Those weapons platforms are necessary for any spectrum of warfare. Again, what is “so obsolete”?

Ah…since Hagel assumed office last year he has announced he will reduce the number of US aircraft carriers from 11 to 8. He has removed all tanks from the EU(just before Putin deployed his on the Ukraine border) and he(Hagel) has decommissioned the A10 tank killer aircraft. Don’t worry pitt. This administration is determined to destroy the military. But the important thing is that drag queens can now wear their make up and skirts on duty.

Submarines, tanks and warships are not necessary for warfare in the 21st century? So we defend ourselves against tanks, submarines and warships with what exactly? We defend our interests and project power with what exactly? We employ soft power and diplomacy based on our superiority of what exactly? With swords, pikes, slings and bows? I don’t even understand what you’re talking about pit. Do you?

My Dick  Those weapons will be relevant until they aren’t

Currently they are relevant. So your argument is nonsense as usual.

How are any of those weapon systems obsolete? They could all be argued to be vital in actions as unconventional as counter-insurgency operations.
