Our first was going to be a home birth because my wife didn’t want to deal with the hassle of a hospital and thought she could just “tough” it out. She is tough, but our daughter wasn’t moving into the right position unfortunately to be delivered. 18 hours later my wife had it and had me drive her in rush hour traffic to a hospital. We get in the doors and were told to go right to delivery floor, and she gets the epidural injection and within 15 minutes of the epidural had our daughter.
Then our youngest boy was being born we thought screw this crap lets make plans find a Doc we like and have it at the hospital she works at. Bases covered right? Wrong. Could have easily had him at home with no fuss at all. Full moon night the delivery ward was packed and they were trying to get a room ready. We were in the lobby waiting (this parts kind of funny now…) my wife’s water broke in the lobby she’s screaming and all the family members/visitors were scared to death and all huddled up in the corner of the lobby looking in horror at my wife. My wife is screaming the baby is coming…the nurses are yelling back down the hall “calm down no he’s not.” He was. They finally came down there to check on her, and she was crowning in the wheelchair. They ran us to a room and got my wife down into a bed and she shot out the boy…no doc barely a nurse…done. Shouldn’t have been billed for that one…
TL;DR plan for the worst hope for the best…and it still probably won’t be enough. Hope all goes well my friend. Kids are a blast.
Honestly bros, I’m not really sure about the ins and outs of different medical titles. My woman doesn’t want to have the baby in the hospital so some experienced, non-doctor, lady is going to come help. To make it even more confusing, my gf’s mother who is like a nurse practitioner and also a duola(?) will be hanging around.
This is the US, so really, it comes down to money. The midwife is in business for herself, not affiliated with a hospital/clinic. And in Tennessee, not covered by insurance.
Right now we’re looking at houses a little closer to town and I guess the hospital vs out in the woods where we live now. But it can’t be too far from the gym.

Bent rows didn’t feel crooked or hurt my arm, behind my shoulder blade or my lower back. It’s been years sine they felt like a normal move. One more good workout.
I have a band hanging from the top of the power rack, and one arm behind the back, knuckles on spine. Then I grab the band and push down behind the back like that.

A strange guy has been showing up at the gym, talking to himself. He sorta looks like Macho Man Randy Savage, only who mows lawns. Today he was benching the 150 DBs for multiple singles so I guess he can talk to whoever he wants to.
Brandon Curry, Charles Glass and some other guy work shoulders.
Side delt raises with dumbbells
DB upright rows
Front delt raises with underhand grip on an EZ curl bar
Cable rear Delts bent over and standing
Seated DB Press
Mr Olympia mentions the order of the exercises is effective. They do a single arm DB side raise, leaning away, hanging off a rack. Then a less strict, 2 arm DB side raise. After that they up the weights a little and transition into some DB upright rows(1:45-2:00), with a wide, sweeping motion, really similar to the delt raises only more elbow driven. Like a progressive raise thing. Pretty cool.
Front raises with a barbell and a slight forward lean seem old school and more exciting than cheaty DB front raises.

I’ve been overzealous with pressing and lats, my left shoulder is getting pinchy. All those no money’s, y raises and rear delts got it feeling pretty good today.
