Just because I eat well most of the time doesn’t mean I don’t ever touch a dorito, jello pudding, or snickers bar. Just not all the time. People can vote with their wallets.
And most people can make intelligent food choices. they’re just to lazy and stupid. It’s not the fault of business, it’s their fault. But personal responsibility is lost on a liberal.

My argument is actually centered around the concept of encouraging consumer choice. Why is this part of a liberal agenda? If people want to choose grain fed beef at 4$ a pound when it’s sitting next to grass fed beef at $8 a pound… fine. Unfortunately most grocery stores don’t carry enough raw products for consumers to make that choice. I have never suggested that we force grass fed beef or other healthy food products on anyone, you did.
You are really that stupid, aren’t you? Do you have any idea of the costs of “organic farming”. If this style was mandated, cost would not go down. You know nothing about the farming and food industry, are some little college tard, and want to rework an industry because people are lazy and stupid.
Won’t work buddy. To produce beef on a large scale, you have to do it the way the beef guys do. Organic stuff is a nice little niche, but cannot be done on a very large scale. Without it we wouldn’t have 4$ organic beef, we would have 20$ organic beef with no alternative.
The ranchers who couldn’t make it work would sell off their land for developing. We would need to import beef from other countries, such as Australia, and from South America. tjhat would make it so much cheaper than from Oklahoma, right.
Then if our government mandates " organic" , well, that would make things cheaper, now wouldn’t it? Yeah, right.
Just give up and stop being a pussy. some asshole wants to smoke and live off of bacon, whatever. The only way I can prevent that is with what we normally call totalitarianism.
Let me ask you, are you too stupid to understand what I’m telling you??? I DON’T WANT THE GOVERNMENT TO ELIMINATE LARGE FARMS, yet you insist that i do. I have said this over and over but it won’t get through to you. What I want is for the government to stop supporting an industry that is in my opinion immoral, produces an inferior product, and is driving up the costs of healthcare and energy. I also want the government to start programs perhaps on the state level that would help local farmers increase the efficiency of their businesses.
Ya cuz, I know grass fed beef is about 3 to 4 dollars a pound more in the super market. If consumers start demanding more of this product however more small farms will HAVE TO BE CREATED and the price may actually drop. I think consumers will start demanding more grain fed beef if we can make the product more available through subsidies and couple that with making food a bigger part of education.
Like I said before G, It’s great you disagree. Go write a book about it and leave me alone.
