I’m currently at 6’1 175 and looking to gain muscle mass. I’ve taken some steps and noticed a gain in muscle mass: I’ve started working out with a kid whose into BBing and is way stronger than me. He’s really pushed my workouts and I can see myself making gains based on these intense workouts alone. Problem is, he doesn’t do anything on the nutrition side of things. Kid has gained 45 pounds in the last 4 years, but doesn’t know anything about bulking, etc. Here’s the diet:

So…after calculating all that, my diet SUCKS! I need more calories, right? And more protein, less carbs? What specific foods can I eat to achieve this? I know my dinner meal looks like rubbish, but I get it for free since I’m in college, the eating thing is a lot harder. What are some other healthy things to add in to my lunch and dinner that have benefits? Obviously chips have no nutritional value, but I need suggestions on what else I can eat.
Should I cut out the carbs from the oatmeal in the morning and make a turkey-bacon omelet? Need all the tips you can give me on a clean bulking diet…looking to gain some weight and then cut down to summer slim shape before summer! Am new at this, so sorry if some things i said were wrong.

Edit: attached a pic of newbie gains a while ago. Just a pic of where my physique is currently at. Not happy with it at all, i’m the smallest guy in the gym.
