Classic Characters from T Nation

I remember when Push posted that his son had his hand mangled in a work accident.

Carlos Moran used to post on here as Detazathoth. He just totaled 2006lbs at 220lbs, check him out on the Juggernaut Training (Chad Wesley Smith) channel. Super jacked, super strong.

What was the name of the redheaded kid who took like 15 bottles of the old Prohormone Mag-10 and started the whole ā€œTube Steak Boogieā€ thing?

His explosiveness is unreal. So cool to see.

This thread is wild. I think I left a few months before it was posted coming back just recently. It’s amazing how much has happened in these forums over the last 15+ years.

I read T nation for a bit as a young teen for high school sports. Like 2010 - 2011. This site definitely feels very different than it did back then. Back then I never cared for the Professor X dramas since I was a lurker, but this site had a big roster of big guys back then who seemed to have disappared.

I really genuinely liked Prof. X. I went on hiatus about the same time he did.

I lurked over there. Never got into posting much.

I mean what was not to like?

Dude trained at the gym in the middle of a hurricane while everyone else was soft and bunkered at home with their families.

Also, he taught us you can get lean by doing bicep curls between sets.

He was always nice and courteous to me lol.

I know others had bad experiences with him, but I never did.

That was the Google + group back in 2012/13. I was in it for a while.

I joined this forum in 2004 and met BBB in 2005. We became friends and I went to his wedding in 2013. Tragically he passed away in 2023. I went to the funeral.

Thanks, you too. I’m one of the less cool guys

He invented his own form of dieting that he called ā€˜re-comping’ didn’t he?
