If you are truly a comic fan this will make your day. For those that aren’t this it what Superman should look like. “Sigh” I wish this would become a movie. And one more pic of Superman As well, but check the link it won’t ler anyone down(even you Prof. X.)
Thank you for the link. I couldn’t tell who was playing the Batman role but know for sure Superman was played by Mike O’Hearn. Now, that is how Superman needs to look like in this day and age. Jesus, Nicole Bass would kick this new SuperBoys ass.
It doesn’t matter if that’s a good thing. It is changing the way something has been for the last 70 years.
I agree with this. Guess I was just playing devil’s advocate, albeit not a very strong one.

I mean, if you were going to be that realistic about it, since when does a pair of glasses and a new hairstyle make it impossible for close friends to even know who you are up close or to tell that you have the same voice?
Excellent point as well. I have always wondered that. But I usually end up telling myself “it’s just a comic book / movie / etc” before I get too worked up about it. But that really is a hilarious point.
Bruce Banner / The Hulk is probably the only super hero / alter-ego that provides a truly effective, altho completely unrealistic, disguise. All the rest simply change clothes and suddenly (and miraculously) friends and family don’t know who they are.
Damn, there I go again (“it’s just a comic book / movie / etc, it’s just a comic book / movie / etc…”)
The only thing that stops every man woman and child being incredibly big strong and energetic, is our stupid stinking genetic makeup that tells our body at all times to
conserve energy
store fat
minimise energy output
keep muscles only at the minimum level to achieve the strength demands of ordinary life
Because we evolved to survive famines (not to mention, we are geared towards long distance walking activity).
If our stupid genetics would just shut up in these areas, if they instead built as much muscle as they could, passed excess fat through the colon or burnt it readily, etc… then the laziest person would still be mega fit strong and huge.
Just my thoughts (regarding Kryptonians).
Also, with their advanced society and educated leaders, the people of Krypton probably would not put a ban on MAG-10.
On Earth however our leaders have the intelligence level of a bunch of monkeys. They think it is better that junk food is sold in schools, than to allow, say, prohormones to be used. It is OK to smoke tobacco which kills millions but illegal to smoke pot which eases the pain / gives appetite to those dying of cancer. etcetera and so on.
So just taking these things into account you’d expect a Kryptonian to be quite big and muscular if they are more evolved, at the least. He’d still need to eat though.

Tom Welling has done films during his reign on Smallville, though probably less taxing, such as The Fog and Cheaper by the Dozen. I’m not sure how it would make money for the WB though, unless that was a typo.
It would be a ton to deal with, I am unsure of the reasons behind it, but you seem to have a better idea.
No typo and it’s not my idea. I was just pointing out how even if they wanted Tom, business wise, it couldn’t be done.
TV actors can make flicks in there down time. The TV producers look at the timeframe and say yes or no, based on how it will affect the shooting of the show.
The Fog budget was $18,000,000, shot in Canada (same as Smallville) and filming dates 14 March 2005 - 30 May 2005. So it was shot during a break in Smallvilles shooting schedule. The producers of The Fog would know they have to work around Smallvilles shooting dates.
Superman Returns Budget $260,000,000 in Australia. I don’t know the shooting dates, but I’m sure it’s more than 2 and a half months. The producers of it don’t care about Smallvilles shooting schedule, they are working on a $260,000,000 movie.
Think of it like any other business. You can’t hire someone for a position if they can’t leave there other.

The funniest thing to come from this was the studios and press saying that Routh weighs in at 250 pounds…yes I am serious.

With a weight vest, iron boots, and a brick in each hand maybe. Damn. 250? Who do they think they’re fooling?
