Citrulline Malate and Glutamine

I heard that mixing citrulline malate and glutamine can reduce the positive effects of CM. Just wondering if anyone can confirm that or not? And if its true then how should I go about taking CM pre-workout as my pre-workout protein shake has glutamine in it…Is there an acceptable time period to take CM and glutamine? ie. take CM wait 30 mins take my pre-workout shake wait 30 mins then workout?
