Luke 2:21
And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.
Jesus was circumcised and he was perfect. Nuff said.
By the way, Chuck Norris and Mr. T are also foreskin challenged. So any arguments against circumcision will be swiftly roundhouse-kicked and pitied into submission.
cleaner , again the dick cheese thing

The time-tested habits of the civilised world work really well against that. The daily shower, for example.
The “dick cheese” is not an issue unless the shower is neglected for about a week or so. Even then, it’s not a health threatening condition per se, not bigger anyway than a smelly armpit.
It’s not covered up when “in use”.
When not in use it may or may not be covered up, but then it does not matter, does it?

I wouldnt want anything that looks like a dogs penis myself.
Im glad that my penis doesnt look ugly, and i have no ill will towards the doctor that did it or my parents.
If it’s different from the way my “tribe” does it, then it’s wrong/bad/ugly/evil.
Yeah, right.
I wasn’t cut up when I was a kid. I was when I was a freshman in highschool. Now, that’s a shitty time to have that done. I had to take time off from school, and didn’t know what to say to the kids when I came back to school with a slight limp; that shit hurts.
So, my kids will be when they are born b/c I don’t want my kids to have to make up an long story like I had to. (yeah i was a dork in highschool)

But all else equal, even though we both agree that boys can wash themselves, the circumcised penis won’t have a cheese aspect. What if your son is 22 and he’s about to get head from some hot coed? Dick cheese would ruin the evening carrie.
If there’s any trace of “cheese” on that dick, I doubt the hot coed would come any closer than 10 yards to that guy. The smell of the armpits due to more than a week of dodging the shower would become an issue long before the dick cheese might play any role.
It’s totally exposed anyway when fully erect. Trust me.

-As noted, in a review published by one of the authors (S.M.) in 1998,6 the association between male circumcision and risk for HIV infection was investigated by 7 prospective studies (from 4 countries). All these studies showed a positive association between lack of male circumcision and risk for HIV acquisition, with approximately a 3-fold relative risk in uncircumcised men. The 1998 review6 also identified 37 crosssectional or retrospective studies, 26 of which (from 8 countries) reported a statistically significant association between lack of male circumcision and risk for HIV infection; an additional 5 studies found a trend toward an association. Again, uncircumcised men had ~3 times the risk of acquiring HIV infection as did circumcised men.

-Strong evidence also links lack of male circumcision to increased risk for genital ulcer disease, particularly chancroid and syphilis. The 1998 review6 identified 11 studies that showed that lack of male circumcision is associated with these types of STDs and none reporting no association or circumcision associated with an increased risk of STD. The strong association between genital ulcer disease and risk for HIV infection lends additional credence to the studies that link lack of circumcision to increased risk for HIV acquisition.23

The above information just strengthens my personal opinion that circumcision does not only have cosmetic purposes.
If a reduced risk of HIV and other STD’s is not enough reason for the anti-circumcision group to at least reconsider their stance I would be very concerned.
I understand that the risk of these things can already be greatly reduced with a bit of common sense (and this will be used as an arguement)but I think it is worth considering in the world that we live in today.

You are very strange. I have yet to meet a person so against circumsion. I STILL have yet to meet a person that has given any valid reasons for why it’s bad as opposed to being essentially nothing-not good or bad. A large majority of men in this country are circumcised. I think we’re all doing fine.
Yeah, well, ya know, it’s not the first time I’ve been told that.
You guys can think what you want about your equipment, do whatever you’d like with your equipment. But when someone asks for opinions on it, I am going to speak my mind. Agree or not, I don’t care. Just educate yourself before you get it cut.
I have no problem with you speaking your mind. I just don’t agree with you.
Correlating circumcision to violence could be detrimental. If you develope a statistic like that then maintain the rational proportion and apply it to the entire male population, It could flip that conclusion if the number of men in the statistic were actualy disproportionaly large when multiplied by the factor that would make the statistical sample equal to the size of the population.
So if one out of one hundred of that statistic were un-cut, but the actual ratio of cut to uncut was one thousand to one, there would be a ten times greater tendency to voilence among the un-cut crowd, according to that statistic.
Thats why statistics like that are bullshit.
If you need a reason to be angry at your parents, or blame some stupid behavior because you are uncapable of accepting responsability I guess that will do.

Cut your toes and ears off as well since your parents couldn’t teach you to wash your body thoroughly. You know, toe cheese and ear crust can be such a bitch if you wash 'em only once a month too.
Peace be with you and good luck with penis de-sensitivity.

Read up on Acts of the Apostles. Circumcision was no longer mandated for converts to Christianity.
It was a practice that Jews followed to confirm their covenant with God in earlier times so as to be distinguished from the heathens. When Christ came, He fulfilled all that was under the law. Indeed He was perfect, but the laws were fulfilled after His Resurrection and certain rituals (such as circumcision) were soon after expunged by the Apostles (who were inspired by the Holy Spirit which is one Person of the Godhead and is also perfect).

is there any ways of bringin bak sensitivity. i got mine done wen i was 8 and my sensiivity has greatly reduced.
Penis sensitivity post-circumcision goes from a 10 to a 3 (or at best a 4). The skin gradually keratinizes (basically forms callous sheathes of cells). People circumcized as babies are like color-blinded folks, they miss out on increased sensory perception to a significant extent. Anyone getting circumcized as an adult will realize what a great loss they’ve encountered. It’s like seeing a broad spectrum of colors and then only seeing black & white and realizing the magnitude of sensitivity you’ll be missing out on forever.
Until recently, there were no medical procedures to revive sensitivity. Then a medical procedure was introduced that allowed patients to graft an implant of human skin to cover the forehead. Now, there are foreskin restoring devices available for purchase via the internet as well as forums where hundreds of people share information about their experiences with foreskin restoration. After keeping the foreskin covered post-circumcision, the keratinized cells are replaced by fresh cells which regain feeling and stimulation under their warm, moist skinfold.

This is misleading. Babies naturally increase brain activity and their bodies learn which neural pathways allow the accomplishment of a task. If they try to raise their hand, eventually they will work out which set of neural responses are needed to perform that action. It becomes ingrained through repetition. To imply that a baby and an adult would experience the exact same loss of sensitivity in a sexual organ makes little sense. A baby’s sex organ is undeveloped. Therefore, you can’t claim there is a reduction in sensitivity from 10 to 3 in a baby simply because a full grown adult who has a matured sex organ may experience it post-surgery. As has been written by several people in this thread and myself, my dick is sensitive. I can’t speak for any other man, but I do know if this is a 3, walking around with a “10” would make me pass out every time I inhaled or walked briskly. Entering pussy would cause immediate ejaculation. With that in mind, why do you pretend as if this wouldn’t be the case? If anything, it only points to why it should be done as a newborn and not as an adult.
Wasn’t circed as a baby but had to at the age of 21 due to splitting of the turtleneck. Wish I never had it done, the sex was way better before. Chicks dug it and liked to play with it because it was different. Never had any cleaning issues and I was a USMC infantryman. I will never do it to my son. If I could have it back I would gladly take it back.
