weight 213, off the blocks!

already im feeling alot leaner.

my top two abs have become visable again, my collar bones are prominent again etc.

I dont seem to have lost any weight this week as such, but im feeling much leaner - might just be the fasted cardio in the morning keeping everything tighter for longer, or maybe the lack of extra water in my system.

either way im starting to see the remainder of my fat collecting around my midsection with everywhere else looking quite lean…

so ill be starting HOT-ROX on wed i think!

another clean day, thats 5.

tomorrows carb reload will consist of some home made wholegrain bread with peanut butter and maybe some cheese and then a large pizza in the eve.

my supps:

20 fish oil tabs
15g creatine
30g BCAAs
30g milk protein

what kind of calories am I looking at their? im not including them, maybe im not in as much of a deficit as i thought!

wohoo for carb up days!

so far:

porridge + single cream and brown sugar

12 oatcakes with cheese

1 innocent smoothie

1 banana

20 cashew nuts

2 choc cookies.

and still to come:

wholgrain base home made pizzas!

the carb up was enjoyable, but now im feeling quesy with stomach issues, my body definately doesnt like bad carbs!

body temp is 35.7…thats low right?

lol not the most inspiring first week of a fat loss plan.

but these sorts of calculations are very subjective and only really gain meaning after months not weeks!

This might also be due to the 3 x 5 doses of creatine ive been having daily. ive heard it bloats you a bit.

sortof looks like my carb reload re spiked my weight as you would guess it would.

hopefully by sat morning it will dip below 213.

little concerned with my diminishing body temp, worried for my metabolism.

im only in a 20% cal deficit!

well HOT-ROX starts tomor so lets see what that does!

well the carb fest obviously subsided in my system and the ball is rolling again.

my temp is 35.6 which is up too.

ill have a smaller carb up this week and see what effect it has on the loss.

so thats 10 pounds off in the 1st 3 weeks!

Excited to watch your transformation Chutec, and great job so far!

But Why the Carb up?
You clearly don’t tolerate carbs well, and don’t feel well after eating them.
Is it just to maintain sanity?

Personnally, I would treat this diet like a workout program, keep it simple and stick to what works until it stops working, then re-tool!

i lost alot of weight before, and i noticed a severe slow down in metabolism within 3 weeks of each ‘major cut’ starting.

I would return to maintenance for a couple of weeks if I ever went 2 weeks without a loss.

when i introduced cheat days or reload days i noticed that I removed the need for the 2 week maintenance periods, instead I simply made 2 days of the week non weight loss days by virtue of the carbs in my system.

it worked out that this allowed continued fat loss without ever having to change anything else.

basically i dont respond well to carbs, but my body can only cut so much and its gotten very good at realising when its fat stores are in trouble, and it shuts down fast.

so the weekly ‘reminder’ that im getting adequate nutrients keeps it ‘on’.

yeah not entirely sure how that happened.

dips are my pride and joy…but it doesnt matter that i go WAY below parallel and lean forward a little…my triceps take all the gains!

cant say i dont like having big triceps!

cant wait too cut another 10 pounds and see if my chest is actually worth something
