Chronic Compartment Syndrome from TRT

Anybody have more info on a condition that seemed to start soon after TRT called Chronic compartment syndrome? Effects the lower legs after running. my muscles get very tight in the front of shins to the point you can’t continue to run. Running was a hobby and former sport of mine. I would love to get this fixed minus surgery. The internet has very limited info on this subject but I have found were it can be linked to steroids. Using low does 125mg per week trt with AI. Help appreciated.

I’ve developed the same problem. I think overworking calves contributes to the problem.

Actually I got the same thing years ago, at basically a few months after starting TRT. I always asummed it was shin splints and to be honest until I read this post, have never even thought about the connection with TRT. I havent tried to even run in years, stopped it cold turkey and now only do cardio on eliptical or walk on treadmill.

I had to do regular PT tests for my job, I went from being able to run 1.5 mile in 9 minutes to not able to run more then about 30 yards because it was like my shins just seized up. That was within the first year of TRT.

I think deep massage helps to stretch the tissue that is too small for the muscle, try this before surgery.
