You believe resources can be materialised right?

I think u need a lot of faith to believe in things like that

How much is a lot?

How much is any?

You went from here:

Aside from the leading questions, what does materialism have to do with Jesus’ miracles?

Ah don’t be suspicious about it. I’m not attempting to trap your answers, just merely getting some dialogue . I was watching a talk where one of jesus miracles was to materialise loaves and fishes,is this believable?

Ditto

Wondering if the Christians here differentiate between Roman Catholicism propaganda and Christ Consciousness. Like, do most of you realize that Catholicism was used to control the peeps, that the Romans distorted the word?

Do you support the church despite the sale of indulgences?

Curious.

There are some of us here who absolutely acknowledge that, and the rifts it causes.

those of us who go to churches that teach church history (which is absolutely crucial imo), know of the Roman Catholicism past.

the church I go is heavily influenced by almost all of the various Protestant Reformers from all walks of life and backgrounds in the past, and part of our church discipline is a constant every Sunday/Wednesday preaching of Christ-centered, and Christ conscious living.

We have a free access library and the first top row alone was curated by a lovely woman friend of mine consisting of nothing but Charles H. Spurgeon.

We’ve also got accounts/works from Luther, A.W. Pink, Calvin, Tyndale, Knox, Cranmer, Melanchton, The Puritans, those that were horrifically martyred for preaching Christ and Christ alone , some works are unnamed, etc.

So yeah, we’re out here my guy. And we’re keenly aware of that. Some of us recognize that Revelation hints at not only any and all distortions, demonic forces, false prophets, and corruption of the truth in the symbolism that’s throughout that entire book, but that some parts John speaks about in Revelation also have a LOT to do with that present day corruption during the Author’s time.

There’s also documents and works describing how some Protestants and reformers were also literally used as human torches to light the streets of Rome because they spoke out about the blatant corruption going on under the name of Christ.

The Bible describes those who do that as ā€œhaving been condemned from long ago, and their destruction is not asleep.ā€

Appreciate your response. I believe in one god, different paths.

I am a fan of Gnosticism, but for me there is no ā€œoneā€ doctrine. The idea that Christ was ā€œThe Wayā€ in terms of living your life resonates with me. I am not a fan of organized religion. I like the fellowship, but my relationship with Source doesn’t need interpretation from a middle man.

Ultimately, we are all just trying to find our way to consciousness.

Absolutely understand.

Can I ask why a narrow/one way path or guide is something you don’t like? Genuinely wanting to know.

The narrow/one way feels righteous and one of the things I have learned, though it might be incorrect, is that we do not have the capacity to understand the universe.

I think Catholicism/Christianity is a distortion of the message delivered by enlightened masters such as Jesus. The bible, or at least the New Testament, is Paul’s message, not that of Jesus, and it is distorted in my opinion.

I think it is fine for individuals - your narrow path (if it is narrow) is your path and that is fine for you. It might not be good for me. And my narrow path is my path and might not be appropriate for you.

Whatever brings you peace is appropriate for you and it should be respected.

I understand where you’re coming from.
