I personally don’t care how much javascript you use, however pop up windows piss people off (including me), its a simple rule of life
Also the inconspicuous black text on white paper for the text version was good in work.
And while I’m at it, frames defy the whole model of the web (each page has its own location) and should never be used EVER!
