Gotta agree. There is NO justification for killing innocent people. If he wanted to kill himself, its his choice; but to kill his wife and a little boy…fucking poor excuse for a man IMO.
Well, WWE.com didn’t acknowledge it as a “murder suicide” until after the telecast was shown, and as soon as it was deemed a murder suicide all tribute videos were removed as well as the profile of Benoit. Autopsy results will not be available for two weeks and more details will emerge soon.
I grew up watching Benoit from his days with the four horseman up through Sunday night, when he was scheduled to win the ECW championship.
Greatest techniqual wreslter in the history of WWE imo and I wil always remember his battles against Jericho and Austin for the title belt. I hope that the murder suicide is untrue and in the coming weeks it is proven that the initial reports were wrong.
But I think we should all be mourning Daniel Benoit, pray for the little boy who got robbed of his life, he was just 7 years old and will never ever live his life, and even if Benoit is the culprit or not, that is the truest tragedy.

Okay. Let’s start the clock: How long before some major “news” outlet uses the word “STEROIDS” in an article about this mess?
I hope that you are wrong, but on the other hand, I agree, it`s only a matter of time before the “S”, word is spoken, and with it another set of ramifications to make our lives even more difficult than they already are.

It has just been brought up by Certainly Not News.
TMZ has learned more about the deaths of WWE wrestling superstar Chris Benoit, his wife and son – and the information is extremely disturbing.
Several Atlanta-based law enforcement sources have told TMZ Benoit may have strangled his wife on Saturday, then smothered his son in his bed a day later. Investigators refuse to officially comment, pending final confirmation by the coroner on the cause and time of the deaths.
The source told TMZ that Benoit was texting friends during Sunday’s WWE “Vengeance” Pay-Per-View program – possibly watching the show with his son, who may have been alive at the time. According to sources, Benoit then hanged himself Monday in a weight room inside the family home.
The WWE did the right thing with a tribute i think.
He was a friend and a loved one to many.
He was a great wrestler/performer.
and the tribute was to those things only.
Nobody still knows what happened (publicly)
speculation i’ve heard is that the wife killed the kid (either on purpose or on accident) and that is why he came home.
he then lost it and killed her and then himself.
The police also said they are not ruling out a triple murder until the investigation is done…
could have been a triple murder, made to look like a murder-suicide…
The authorities said the situation was “bizarre”.
I would tend to think that if he simply came home and did the deed, it wouldn’t be classified as such.
and who just comes off the road claiming a “family emergency”
and then kills his family for no reason…
My 2 theories are:
his wife was going to leave/cheating and wanted to take the kid…
so he came home and killed both and then himself.
his wife killed the kid accident/purpose and he couldn’t forgive her and killed her, then did himself.
either way, i think there is more to it then just random murder-suicide.
I’m not defending Benoit in this post, but more attacking the media.
In this situation, from second one it’s always the man’s fault. Duke Lacrosse anyone? The media has an agenda to put down white males, has anyone ever seen the video on youtube about the double rape, murder, and mutilation of a man and his wife my 3-4 black gang members?
How much news coverage did it receive? Yet at a similar time, that radio host got fired and stuff for calling some women “nappy headed.”
I wish I could say Benoit didn’t do it, but I can’t. He did some amazing things in the ring though. So many of these people in pro-wrestling are two faced and some of them don’t even realize it.

Not very long. . .
ATLANTA – Pro wrestler Chris Benoit strangled his wife and smothered his son before hanging himself in his weight room, a law enforcement official close to the investigation told The Associated Press on Tuesday.
Authorities also said they are investigating whether steroids may have been a factor in the deaths of Benoit, his wife and their 7-year-old son. Steroid abuse has been linked to depression, paranoia, and aggressive behavior or angry outbursts known as “roid rage.”
I just talked to my bro about it and he said that he read that he strangled his wife, then smothered the kid, then hung himself. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot…

Beef Wellington (not famous, but did wrestle and train with Benoit and the Harts up in Stampede Wrestling)
Pitbull #2 (Anthony Durante)
And like someone previously said, its sad that I can recall 3 not so famous wrestlers off the top of my head in addition to the more famous names already mentioned.
Maybe its a good thing I broke my ankle 3 months into training at Killer Kowalski’s and never became what I thought I wanted to be, a full-time professional wrestler.
Personally, I’m a true believer in innocent until proven guilty. I pray that he was not the one who murdered Daniel.
I could “understand” incredible passion and anger at a spouse who’s cheating and/or leaving - heck, its the probably the #1 reason most murders occur.
At the time, WWE planned the show, 4pm yesterday, there were no details at all.
Hence the tribute show.
As soon as it started looking like a murder-suicide, they IMMEDIATELY started taking off tribute vids from the website. I went to look at some of them around 11:30 and already Cena’s and SCSA’s were off. The rest followed soon after.
Now everything is off the site: bio and merchandise and hilite videos and tribute videos, of which there were a TON yesterday afternoon and evening.

I just can’t wrap my brain around the fact that Benoit killed his wife and kid. There’s so many questions, and I wonder if we’ll ever get the answers to those questions.
Yup - that is the big question, and it’s impossible to even empathize here, because a sane man doesn’t even begin to think that way. It’s inexplicable, and so, so fucking sad. What a tragedy…
I saw Benoit at Nassau Coliseum with some buddies from my old job a couple years ago - great show live - I’m not a really big wrestling fan, but that show was great.
Those dudes are bricked, and acrobatic as hell - it’s impressive, “fake” or not.
Cant totally blame the roids , the wwe work schedule is gruelling and unrelenting i think they get about 3 weeks off a year so it could have been just a stress and psychological strain thing aswell
one of the greatest all time odd that he outlived the dynamite kid

way to hack up my post and take my comments out of context…
do you expect a mother to hate her son who commits murder…
you cant just turn it off…
at least not right away…
is he a total bastard for killing everyone… sure… no argument…
but to his friends, family and fans. on monday night, without knowing the facts, he was not yet that person…
so i stand by my comments… the tribute was justified at the time.
