Holy hell you “IFers” are as bad as the crossfit people. Guess what? Some people lead lives that don’t allow us to postpone meals until the afternoon. Moreover, basing your food choices strictly on macronutrients isn’t going to give you the full nutrition picture. Shove your goddamn bible in someone elses face. Answer this dude’s question or GTFO.
OP: Economics aside, because that doesn’t seem to be in any way related to your question, you can check the website’s estimate against any number of other calorie counters and make your judgment with a wider set of data. That’s my advice.
As far as cheating is concerned, this is what I think: don’t listen to ANYONE who says you can eat whatever you want as long as it’s within your macro count. Use your brain, eat healthy to the extent that you can, and make your calories count. If you’re dieting then you need food which is going to give you the simultaneous benefits of a sensible calorie/macro count, and vitamins, minerals, etc. If you’re going to cheat, then just cheat. Scratch your itch, get it out of your system and move on. Don’t make it a habit, but don’t make yourself miserable.
?are you trying to get even leaner??
At the time I took the pictures I had been hovering around 185 with goals to do a local powerlifting competition at 181.
I gave up on the plifting goals and now I have the very typical goal of wanting to get shredded for summer.
Difference between MOST people that have that typical goal and me is that I?m actually going to do it and I spent years following the lift eat sleep repeat template so that I will look more impressive than lil wayne when I?m done.
I haven?t been dieting for too long but so far it hasn?t been extremely difficult.
?Use your brain, eat healthy to the extent that you can, and make your calories count.?
Best advice to give anyone that has a basic knowledge of nutrition and isn?t a professional bodybuilder. With all the information and plans out there it?s easy to get discouraged and say this will be too difficult for me to follow or to drive yourself nuts thinking that you are not dieting the optimal way. I read everything I could picked up ideas that made sense to me something I believed in and put it all together into doing something I can manage.
You could have just cooked your own chicken and steak, and chopped up some tomatoes, for a lot cheaper, but nothing wrong with that meal. I love chocolate milk, and Hood Calorie Countdown chocolate milk is a pretty decent substitute that only has like 4g carbs per cup.
