Of course if viewed from ‘the world as it should be’ position this is tragic.
It would be interesting to know how things reached this point. Restraining order, Court ordered medication, one day of visitation, etc.
IMO…with the exception of actual abuse; usually this happens because the man takes a passive approach to the proceedings. By the time he realizes what is really happening there is a mountain of documentation (factual and otherwise) to contend with and he is forced to play defense. I watched the complete video and the guy is his own worst enemy, he is still fighting with his wife through the child (I have no doubt she is doing the same, but at this point he has nothing to gain and everything to loose with this approach). When you are at meetings like this there is only one goal, preservation of your parental rights! Effort directed toward anything else is a waste.
Additionally…I realize sometimes people are deceived; but more often than not the character flaws are there for all to see from the beginning and men who breed with ‘less than ethical’ women get what they deserve. I don’t believe in the accidental pregnancy, men should see to their own birth control and always have a paternity test conducted when a pregnancy occurs. At this first sign of things going south…get a lawyer, file an action: divorce/custody/or both (so you are the petitioner), and keep your shit together…this is serious business.
JEWBACCA YOOHOO JEWBACCA
So, do you know any cut throat attorneys who could put together a class action suit against CPS? The plaintiffs would be every parent who ever took their child to McDonalds or gave them coffee or diet soda. That bitch has totally slandered us by calling us negligent parents.

Wow. What a load of horse shit. I can attest to some of this stuff. My Mom and Dad divorced starting when I was 3, it went on until I was 9. My Mom got custody of my brother and I when I was 5, full time. She, at this point, had not worked since college 15 years before. She was an active (2 DUI’s during 2 years) alcoholic from when I can remember until 2 years ago, I’m now 22. I didn’t see my Dad for several years at a time because my Mom wouldn’t let us… Meanwhile I was learning his trade on my own, so you can tell how big of an influence he was for me.
Kind of a fucked up/stupid situation. My mothers selfishness really fucked up my childhood and it was totally endorsed by the courts. The original reason she got full custody was because a CPS dumbshit wouldn’t allow my Dad to have any visitation because he was a gun owner. He promptly got rid of the guns, still was not allowed to see him. There are thousands of examples like that just from my early life. I can’t imagine what its like all over. Just a load of shit.
Did you ever a get chance to voice your thoughts in court?
Twice my brother and I were brought into the courtroom and went back into the judges office with the child attorney/advocate and both times pleaded to go with our Dad, but it never happened. We never actually spoke in court though.

Guy in the video has already started a lawsuit against fatty (and a few others)
Holy shit…
The fact that this guy had to and did sit there and act civil through this is entire thing blows my mind. I think it was at the 4 minute mark that I lost it and wanted to beat my computer and throw it out my window. I would have walked out so fast as to not hurt her.
But I guess when you have your child at stake then you have alot more motivation and will power to handle something like that
“My daughter put on weight got chubby then hit a growth spurt, 2 inches and boom gone” <<<< likely story coming from the woman with no neck that believes diet soda has sugar in it

Yeah I did as well. There is no possible scenario in which that woman’s behavior could be construed as professional and appropriate.

Google “CPS Interrogation” and you’ll see it
I originally glanced through the video, now I’m actually listening to it. I signed the petition yesterday.
Most of her statements are too ridiculous to repeat.
Honestly, he did not do a very good job defending his position. He pretty much sat there and took it, then whined about it afterward. Instead of challenging her statements to the point that they were broken down and shown to be as ridiculous as they were, he allowed her to believe she “won”, which positively reinforces her behavior.
By not being as aggressive enough in challenging her, he not only has allowed her to believe that her assessments are correct, but also her assessments are being documented to be used against him in the future. His highest priority in those meetings should be to make sure the documented evidence works in his favor.
“These other things are going into her brain as well, and internalizing those as well. [and her subsequent elaboration.] And you need to realize the negative effects these things are having on your ability to raise a happy and healthy child.”
Because your own child is getting great messages from a highly opinionated, highly defensive, obese mother.

How do you argue with the person that controls whether you get to see your daughter or not?

Do you care about the kid or do you care about “his” side?
He was deemed unfit for overnight rights. Then watched the kid for 8 hours, and within that 8 hour time frame a 7 year old kid complained of her heart hurting as you fed her mcdonalds and soda? Ignorant to whether the soda you gave a 7 year old (On meds) has caffeine or not. Do you normally pass judgement from one side of an argument? Do you know if this is the 100th time he’s made this complaint using a possible simple minded argument?
I’ve yet to meet ONE person in a job atmosphere who doesn’t get frustrated repeating the same shit over and over as someone is making a dumbass complaint.
And lets be real Chris Brown, Ike and numerous others denied in writing they ever touched their spouses until solid indisputable proof came out.

Looking at the meeting from a legal standpoint, his goal is to make sure that the documentation works in his favor.
By not challenging her, he’s “allowed” her to write down those assessments as truth, in the notes that will be presented to the court. Most likely she will leave out several facts and summarize it as “father is not concerned about child’s health and wellbeing”, elaborating on “is encouraging an eating disorder” and on some variant of “scaring the child [via allegedly reading off side effects of the drugs]” and “actively working against doctor’s orders”.
A bunch of things that make him look bad, that will be in official documents.
Those are the things he should have challenged.
Because based on what she probably wrote, that meeting probably made things worse for him.

I didn’t sign the petition on the basis that the father was right. I’m not really supporting his position. Soda and chicken nuggets weren’t a good choice; but… home cooked chicken nuggets and juice aren’t any better (which was her suggestion.)
I signed it on the basis that her behavior was unfit for a professional.

If this was usual behavior, or behavior on her first encounter with him then I would totally agree. But I don’t know if that’s the case. This may be a complaint that’s been re-open 50 times, at some point a person would become frustrated. I also don’t think anything nutrition related should ever come out her mouth.

I think she’d lie through her fat fucking face and she is in the position of authority/power/trustworhty source in the courts eyes. He is between the proverbial rock and a hard place. If he speaks up he’s fucked and if he doesn’t he’s fucked.

I think you completely miss the point of the meeting.
This meeting was held to ‘correct’ the father’s behavior. It has already been determined that his actions were ‘incorrect’, that point is not up for debate at this time, and arguing with CPS (or even worse…acting like you don’t get it) only digs the hole deeper. CPS is not a neutral party! This guy hands them the bat to beat him with.
