I never said you said it was ok. Just respectfully disagreeing that people film everything and pointing out regardless of weather you thought it excused actions that it doesn’t.
Also like the guy said the second point was just addressing all the stuff about non drug addiction.
You have no control in any way of the physical effects of drugs on your body. Any physical withdrawl from video game gambling etc. addiction could be controlled by the brain.
Something about someone dying from not drinking while playing a video game was posted I was just pointing out that person is a retard and probably would of forgot to breath sooner or later or something anyway.
I agree people definetly can get “addicted to video games” but in the sense that they are terrible life eaters and time wasters, any super obsessive activity can be bad, i am sure people have become obsesed with playing marbels or something and died from not drinking, but there just not the same as drugs that do physical damage and are deadly by themselves. Drug addiction and obsessively doing an activity just aren’t the same.
When I put october girl in my post, it’s cuz I’m too lazy to quote I’m just commented on what you said as part of the discussion it was not meant to specifically be a convo/ argument with you.
Has anyone else wondered if maybe the girl in the video was getting revenge for something? Maybe he cheated on her or screwed her over somehow and this was how she got her revenge? Just an idea.

Your argument is completely false. The existence of electronic banking completely destroys everything you have said, as someones account could be altered to tremendous gain or loss by anybody who has access to the database. There are thousands of other things that are just the same, the stock market, 401Ks, IRAs, Credit Scores, all could be altered by someone with database access.

These bits in theses accounts are representative of things that are actually being produced/serviced (i.e. physical goods, useful services). Nothing is produced playing a game like WoW. Nothing. Know what those bits represent in the database of a game like WoW? Hours upon hours of … clicking. That’s it. Nothing is produced, nothing is given as a service.

Maybe you’re not aware of the stance you are taking. You are saying that playing WoW produces something of value.

Doesn’t matter she is still a cunt, he is still a bitch, and this thread is still a clusterfuck.

WOW does produce something of value, just because you personally don’t value it, doesn’t nullify the millions of dollars that are spent in transactions surrounding the game. People spend tremendous amounts of money on gold farmers, levelers, strategy guides, and the purchase of characters/items among other things. WOW has created its own economy in a sense.
The simple fact that people are willing to spend money for those things shows that it does produce something of value, period. Just because it doesn’t provide/produce anything of value to YOU or in your eyes doesn’t change anything. Just ask the millions of players and people whose lives revolve around the game and the transactions that it produces if WOW produces something of value TO THEM.
They are willing to pay money, thus they have deemed that its value is worth their cash, plain and simple.
Haha i remember when i played the game that paved the way for WoW, EverQuest, years ago, like back when i was in junior high. Played it for several years, creating a badass, and BAM sold my guy for 1,000$. You know how much money that is to a kid in highschool? Especially thinking to myself, “DUDE, i played a video game…”

goochadamg you are wrong; WestCoast7 is right.
Not to beat a dead horse but a lot of people are throwing around the word “value” without actually understanding its meaning from an economic standpoint.
Take any basic class on value theory and you’ll understand what the word “value” actually means. Whether you approach value from a classical or neoclassical standpoint, it is still easy to prove that WoW accounts have value. I mean, arguing that WoW accounts have no “actual value” because they aren’t “physical goods” or similar rubbish is just that - rubbish.
According to the classical labor theories of value, something’s value is defined by the amount of labor required to produce it. Now if you wanted to approach it from a neoclassical standpoint, where value is defined as the price something would bring in an open market, once again we prove that WoW accounts have value because people are paying thousands of dollars for accounts.
Please don’t argue with simple economic theory that is beyond your understanding.
