I see. So, I have to frequent strip clubs and brothels to know that they are lewd? Explain this.

Yes, if there was actually all that child molesting going on that would be called lewd molestation. Back on topic, I know it’s tough, maybe you can actually, now, put forth a logical argument against why behaving in a manner considered lewd by the law and having beliefs that a governmental agent disagrees with is the same grounds to attempt to shut down a business.

Though, you seem to think shutting down a business based on what the owner believes is a good enough reason, though if something is considered lewd, that is not good enough because it violates some imaginary freedom to do whatever that you wish without responsibility.
Where did I say shutting down a business based on what the owner believes is a good reason?

Since when is wishing someone bad luck the same as shutting them down?

Well, since the story was about politicians threatening to shut them down, and your first response was that you hope all THIS causes them to go out of business…

Threatening is different than actually shutting down, so far it was just free speech on both sides. That is what I hope loses them business, free speech against them, not the government blocking them by other means.

So threatening to use the force of government to deny zoning rights, unless the great heresy is recanted, is simple free speech? Did you open the link? Be honest now, did you read the article before you replied?

Yes, you consider some things lewd that other people are okay with.

So your whole act is a routine in order to get around the fact that you want to punish people because they think differently from you.
Punish? Punish whom, for what? What the hell are you talking about?

He seems to think that ordinances against strip clubs have nothing to do with how the people operating are thinking, but their “lewdness”.

“Lewdness” however is in the eye of the beholder and I hope that he will remember his stance when they shut down his church because it “corrupts” children, also something very much in the eye of the beholder.
You’d have to ignore evidence to believe it corrupts children. You however don’t have to be blind to see how a brothel or strip club is lewd.
If only they had a way of preventing children from entering, perhaps a person at the door checking Ids to make sure everyone is a certain age, 18 maybe?
It’s still lewd under or over 18.
Says the law.
Sorry You will have to show me where the law says titty bars are lewd

I, for one, wished the navel-gazing Lefties’ boycott of Chik-fil-A was having more success. My time stuck in the drive-through lately is intolerable.

haha

Also:

Obama in 2008: “I believe in traditional family values when it comes to marriage”, result? Millions of liberals vote him to lead them to the promised land

Man who makes chicken in 2012: “I believe in traditional family values when it comes to marriage”, result? Millions of liberals take to facebook, the news and protests to call the man a bigot, try and sink his company through boycott and push their agenda of “tolerance dictates you must agree with my point of view.”

Exactly. Shortly after the President’s announcement in support of gay marriage, a coalition of African-American pastors and churches made a public denunciation, and they have continued to speak publicly against gay marriage since then.

And yet. Not a single instance of anyone getting in their face with screams of “hate-filled bigots!” or “kiss in” protests at the churches or events. Facebook isn’t lit up with protests over the stance taken by these African-American churches.

Could it be that this outrage is selective, contrived and completely cynical politics?

Don’t you know we’ve progressed beyond that now. Can’t you see how much better off our country is now that we’ve thrown off that old baggage of faithful marriage and family meaning something and all that? Get with it pal. Raj is trying to help ya out.

Its not the definition that matters, its that the definition can be used to draw other conclusions which is going to get different answers depending on who you ask.

Yes, that’s why when you go to Vegas or Atlantic City you get the Spearmint. And, not Alaska Bush Company in the industrial section off Highway 60.
