Glad they are being taken to court. This is ridiculous.
NYC Council Speaker uses her position to fight against the 1st Amendment? I love liberals.
"I write as the Speaker of the NYC Council, and on behalf of my family. NYC is a place where we celebrate diversity. We do not believe in denigrating others. We revel in the diversity of all our citizens and their families,? the letter begins.
Yes, lets celebrate diversity by banning someone who believes differently. I would be laughing, but I’m about to finish up reading “1984”. This seems entirely too close to the purposeful contradiction of “the party”. “Blackwhite” much?
I’m not surprised by this. The democratic party has been fighting against family values for about 45 years now. Aside from that aspect of the case if you do not agree with the left wing political machine they wil look for a way to silence you.

Good, boycotting is free speech. The government blocking Chickfila is religious persecution.

Yeah, I love how pro-diversity they are, until you hold a different opinion. You can be as different as you want so long as you think the same as everybody else.
I hope all this causes them to go out of business or at least lose a lot of money. Today obviously good for profits but its only 1 day.

your a moron, they said nothing against the homosexual community. sheep. So being a christian he cannot say e supports the idea of traditional family.
I used to try to accept and tolerate you tolerant leftists, but screw it, no more.

why are the Democrats fighting against family values ?
This whole fucking flap is for the benefit of the owner , he is laughing all the way to the bank. Who fucking care except Chic Fillet and the Religious Right ?

I mean, that is the thing, and someone said it above.
It has gotten to the point where people are trampling on other’s right to an opinion to further their own, on both sides. (but it cracks me up the people foaming at the mouth about how “evil christians are holding them down” all while shitting all over them for what they believe. Which is doing back to theists what is being done to them in their words.)
This is an issue I’m pretty blue about. I couldn’t give a flying fuck if two dudes want to get married, nor do I care if two fishing buddies want to get married. In the end, put it up to a vote, which ever side wins, wins and the other side needs to STFU.
We can even re-vote every third presidential cycle.
Deal? If we put it up to popular vote can both sides promise to take the results and STFU? Such a tired non-issue that is never going to have pro/con find middle ground.

Do you even actually understand the story?

Yeah, we could. As has been done and resulted in some of the most liberal places in America voting against recognizing gay unions as the same thing as marriage. That’s why they don’t try to put it up for vote anymore, because they’ve lost the last half dozen votes on the issue.
The fact that the man didn’t even mention gays or Chick-fil-A in the interview is hilarious. How supporting the Traditional Family through a ministry equals that Chick-fil-A hates the gays is beyond me, but that’s liberal logic.

Thank you, I tossed that up and you crushed it out of the park.
And in the end they can all just move to Mass and VT.
Problem solved.

Well, I’m perplexed. I just read a story, this one, about politicians in the US of A attempting to use the power of government to stamp out a business in the area for, well, wrong-thought. In the United States of America…And you don’t care? You really don’t care about that level of power? The power to punish, ruin, and crush…thought? We’re not talking about the gay-kisser protestors, or whatever the idiots call themselves. We’re talking about politicians at least threatening a private citizen(s) for wrong thought…

The people who control all the guns, are now going to dictate where you spend your money and what you think. Super awesome.
How do people want to give this machine more power? How?

This is the original interview that caused all the trouble. If you go to the bottom you can see where they misquoted and put it into a gay marriage context out of the original context of discussing supporting family values.
