I know most people here probably don’t eat a lot of bread, because frankly most bread is garbage, as well as being a source of starchy carbs. In spite of this, I found this pretty awesome bread the other day, and was wondering what peoples thoughts on it were. So what do you all think, does this stuff have any place in a bodybuilding/strength training lifestyle?
Here’s the link for this stuff. Follow the instructions on the site to see the ingredients/nutrition info.
I have had one of these, it was a gift from one of my students, and I think it was ok, but I didn’t like it too much. It was like a solid piece of grains, etc. To heavy for my taste too filling.

looks like pretty good stuff. 21 bucks for two loaves though, ouch.
I get ezekial sprouted grain at the supermarket. check it out[/quote]
Food For Life breads backed hard. I rarely eat any bread, but one of the FFL Genesis sprouted grain and seed english muffins with natural peanut butter is a serious treat.

I should clarify something. It’s only that expensive if you order it from their site. If you live in the Oregon/Washington area, where some stores carry it, it’s about $4.50 a loaf.

yeah it’s high so I freeze it and use it only once or twice a week…
yes, it has a place in a bodybuilding lifestyle…make steak or chicken or whatever the hell sandwiches as a post workout meal. recently tried Silver Hills Squirrelly Bread…it’s made from sprouted wheat. in the ft lewis, wa area i pay $2.79 a loaf
I scarf Ezekiel. I get “crate fell out of the van” prices so the price on that bastard is kinda of steep for bread. I pay around 2.50 per loaf of sesame Ezekiel.
