Cheaper Blood tests?

I’m taking my 6 week TRT blood test in the next few days, I’ve gone with Manuel. The cost is £70 though. Surely there are cheaper options if I went independently ? Seems a lot for a blood test (I know they are very important though).

Stopping TRT would be a cheaper option.

This is part of optimizing treatment.

You just starting out? I’d assume there’s 6 week blood tests then 6 monthly after that? £70 sounds like a limited test, my full testing costs nearer £200 but done annually, but I’ve been 7 years now.

And how do you feel on it ?

I’ve been on since 30 years old, I went on for various reasons but most noticeable was a significant drop in libido - that’s recovered to normal for me levels (was extremely high so the drop off was noticeable).

In terms of energy, mood, clarity, not so much but I’ve also become significantly more stressed and busy in life since starting, so honestly it would be hard to say this hasn’t allowed me to function whereas before I’d have maybe just burnt out. I’m not a great case study, that and I’m really not in tune with my body I noticed very little difference in dosing changes, frequencies, AI no AI etc or maybe I just genuinely don’t respond to much - in my teens/early twenties I did a wide variety of substances and always had a high tolerance (t-total for 11 years now).

Anyway not helpful I’m sure, but hey libido’s good, plus it hopefully guards against the other health issues that low T causes, so worth it for some cost and the occasional needle.
