I tried to get my tested by my doctor as I thought I had some of the symptoms of low T, he said he would test it at the same time as my annual PSA test which was due, but when I read my bloods he hadn’t tested my T. I’m 61, and I mentioned I had lost erections halfway through, but he was not interested and told me to “drink more water”. So Ive gone on it myself, 175mg a week injecting every 3 days (not 175mg at a time its split to average that over 3 weeks). After 12 weeks I feel fantastic, starting back doing weights, eating clean, lost a stone in weight, and putting on muscle, I now wake up with an erection every morning. I doubt I was clinically that low for a 61-year-old man, however, I can honestly say I feel 20 years younger. I did my research and have gone “off piste”. I will still get blood done for PSA etc with doc (in UK) but will say nothing about what I’m doing. I check my blood pressure daily, its gone down, it costs me peanuts. Ive never taken any steroids or anything performance-enhancing before but after heavy involvement in rugby I had no problem with my connections and getting hold of Testosterone Enanthate. At this level, I’m probably at the higher end of TRT? It doesn’t work overnight and takes time, last two weeks the benefits have been really worth it. I’ve had no side effects except some testicular shrinkage which doesn’t make any difference to me.
My question. I was curious so sent for a private Testosterone test. From what I read it would give both a testosterone reading and a free testosterone reading, however, they only gave me a total testosterone test which was at 27.3 which was just outside the “normal range” of 25.5 as quoted by them for UK. I was quite happy with that as I thought that was reasonable. Am I missing anything as anyone got any thoughts on if I should lower the level or not, I took the Test on the morning I would have injected before I injected (i.e day 3)?
