Anyone own one? Anyone want to own one? Im considering buying one, the 3.5L high output 6 SXT, yes i know a 6 but with gas prices how they are and price i gotta go with the 6. So just wondering everyones opinions on the car, ive test driven them and theyre huge, fast and comfortable, just wondering what some other T-Nation people think of them.

If you’ve already driven it (the sxt one specifically?)and like it’s performance then I don’t have much to input, but compared to the majority of vehicles on the road it really does lack in the acceleration department.
Well i want something remotely good on mileage, looks good on the road, and has some power and room inside, and all this for around 20k, charger seems like the best bet.
Most American cars lack in the handling department too, definitely a factor in how fun a car is to drive. Get a GTI.
If you really like the performance of the 3.5L and all the other options that are included, go for it. The only thing is that 250hp doesn’t seem like enough for a big car like the charger, since cars like the altima have around 265hp right now. The 365hp hemi would definitely make a huge difference, but unless you are hell bent on performance and bragging rights, but really who gives a shit?

365 on a big car like the Charger? Anybody know the suspension stats on the Hemi Charger? Probably pretty much the same from the regular Charger. If you like going fast in a straight line, go ahead but I think you can find much better cars than a Charger for that purpose. I know the SRT 300C is one of the shittiest handling cars with that much power.
250hp isn’t a lot for a car that weighs in excess of 4,000 pounds. Concerning the SRT-8, for a car that size it handles pretty well, even around corners.

The speed won’t raise any eyebrows but it is enough. My wife has a Magnum and it handles quite well for what it is. Very even weight distribution.
I made her quite squeamish during the test drive.
