Yes, but what if the number of people who voted for the winner ARE NOT the majority, a la 2000? So is the reflection, then, whether my choice is the choice of the majority or the winner?

In football I caught several passes in the end zone that were out of bounds. Had they counted, my team would have won the game.
Both teams knew the rules going in. For my team to have suggested, after losing, that the rules were wrong and I really won, would have made my team look small, petty, and a very poor loser.

This misses the point and I won’t explain it again.

Yes, but whether or not they win is another matter entirely – one which bears no reflection on one’s values…you do understand this, right?

You are in on this bet according to one of your previous posts. Therefore, while you never took me up on my challenge, I respect the fact that you are in on this one.
If Kerry wins you will be quite happy you got in. If Bush wins I suspect that you might become a bit ill with those first few posts…
You didnt respond to my post – you are aware that who one hopes to win and who actually wins are not the same thing.

JeffR, why not post now, for good measure, who in total has taken up the challenge? You keep tempting the left, but has the right taken you up completely?
I keep hoping all you tough talkers will join THE CHALLENGE!!!
We are getting close!!!
Kerry is the one and only candidate in this race!!! What a connection he has to the voter!!! He’ll win in Iraq because he will go to the U.N.!!! He lived in France, therefore, he must be a true INTERNATIONALIST!!! Everyone can afford a $1000.00 haircut!!! What a common man!!! His initials are JFK and he was born in the West Wing of a hospital!!! He’s a man of destiny!!!
