8 seats go to the south/southwest and the Northeast loses seats.

Looking further at the data, appears that a mid-west state, Michigan, was the only one to lose population.

As cold as it gets here, and as businesses leave the area, I’m not all that surprised. I’ll be migrating south myself soon.

it also does not take into account that states like AZ are growing more liberal by the So call conservative standard

Michigan will soon be like Vermont. Long term this should be quite good for the state – surrounded on 3 sides by lakes and quite a beautiful state. I own part interest in an orchard near Benton Harbor and (except for the city) its really a nice area. Its too many people that fck a place up. Read in the Cali thread about how Californians are fcking up Utah.
