CBO New Numbers: 9.8 Trillion over 10 yrs

For a restatement, and if GL doesn’t like the tone, he can read the middle paragraphs:

It is Obama’s political theater to frame the health care bill as a “deficit reduction” plan–a specious stand supported by the narrowest extrapolations of the CBO.

Now then, where are Ryan McCarter’s examples of CBO overestimates on Medicare expenses?
Perhaps he has not heard back from his cell yet.

Even if Party Headquarter were closed for Palm Sunday, he has had a whole day to get the canned propaganda.
Ah, for the old days, when the CP-USA rehearsed the Party line, 24/7…

I read about half the thread before getting too pissed to stand it anymore. If anybody wants a good read on the realities of the CBO, go here: http://jewishworldreview.com/cols/sowell032410.php3

Thomas Sowell is an economist out of Stanford and his common sense will blow your mind. This shit is so simple, but the main point is that the CBO, while an honest and non-partisan group, only interprets the data given to it by Congress, which is not honest and clearly partisan. Just like a computer, it is garbage in = garbage out. It must be excruciating for them to put out these numbers when they know that it is based on complete fantasy. I can magically be in great financial shape, if I just say that I have a million dollars, regardless of whether it is true.

Anybody who thinks that the healthcare bill is a good idea, just ask yourself this: Why the fuck did congress exempt themselves if the bill is so awesome??!?!?!! The country is down a very bad path, and the reason is the general attitude of entitlement.

I am frightened to think about how much pork is in this bill. Ya know, all the shit we never knew about, that will show up later down the road.

Like Gerby said, the CBO can only use what it is given, should we trust that our government would be honest and forthcoming about the bill?

Why did they exempt themselves? Maybe because they love spending other people’s money and not their own. They are elitists and are better than anyone else. They want all the people who are not their friends to pay for all this stuff. They love their own possessions. If they loved the people so much why have they not sold everything and give it away to the poor? They dont like the people they like their votes. Votes keeps them in the place to continue to use other peoples money. Look at Nancy’s alcohol bill on her private jet? Damn that is a lot of alcohol. I dont think I have drank that much alcohol in my lifetime let alone one year.

Sowell can always be counted on for good stuff. Been reading him for years. Too bad he was either born the wrong color or hasn’t been informed that he isn’t allowed to oppose the Obama agenda because that makes him a ipso facto a racist.

His book on the Housing Bubble is really good. Basic Economics, Economic Fact and Fallacy, and Applied Economics are really good as well. Just finished Intelectuals in Society. That was pretty good. I’ll read anything he puts out.
