Interesting! I honestly have not considered or read much on HGH. With my recent advanced lipid panel and absurdly high cholesterol, my original plan of Primo I believe is out the window and not worth the risk as it does generally affect lipids. HGH seems to have mixed reviews in my brief search, but I’ll have to look more. Most studies popping up seem to be fit children or folks with low GH levels , in which it improves cholesterol numbers. Might not worth the same in my case, but will definitely read up!
@aaronca How bad was your lipid profile? Was your HDL decent? I fear people put too much stock in high LDL being of concerns unless its super super high. There is a lot of research showing its more the particulate size of your cholesterol that has an impact on build up than the overall number. How old are you? I had a Coronary Artery Calcium score done and its touted as the best indicator of heart disease. It only costs $99 and is a full CT of the heart. I’m still young for it in my late 30s but my dad had heart attacks starting at 41 so I wanted to make sure I was all good.
I’ve been tempted with the HGH especially after seeing @studhammer results. Its not even a cost issue I just don’t know much about the risks / consequences. Any downside with heart disease or cancer?
@blshaw I’ve been on consistently now for a year (since my shoulder surgery) and haven’t had any sides other than carpal tunnel syndrome. I started at 4 iu then gradually tapered down to 2 just recently to save money and stretch my supply.
@studhammer You look amazing my friend. I’m sure a ton of that is hard work and dedication but do you feel the GH was worth it? Did you research any of the risks associated and care to share?
I’m having the calcium score done in a few weeks. Fingers crossed!
I appreciate that brother. I said this before but, after my last surgery my philosophy changed and I changed my lifting program.
I’m in the gym 3 - 4 times per week, for about an hour each time. I’ve been doing a full body workout each time as well. I hit all the major muscle groups with low to moderate weights and fairly high reps (i.e 5x20) depending on the exercise and with minimal rest between sets. It all been working out for me, I think.
I believe the GH has increased my recovery big time which is letting me hit full body with only a day in between. Its also improved my sleep which we all know is necessary for recovery.
I did, but most of those were associated with large doses like 10iu/day. I’ve never gone over 5 and that was for a few months.
Though glucose intolerance can be induced with comparatively lower dosages than 10iu, GH also appears to be synergistic with AAS… those who combine both appear to be far more prone to developing cardiomegaly (even in dosages below 10iu)
That being said… I’ll almost CERTAINLY use gh when I hit my mid 30s… I would even use it now if I found out my GH production was lacking #shorterthaneverybloodrelatedmaleinmyfamily
Isn’t this a commonality anyway among athletes? Some sort of cardiomegaly or AHS? Just curious.
Yes, but when the cardiac hypertrophy is associated with a deterioration in systolic or diastolic function is when you’ve gotta to worry
Even then, cardiac hypertrophy in itself absent of functional abnormality may predispose one to arrhythmia… increased LVM is a fairly independent and reliable risk factor determining long term cardiac risk… though this is in response to say hypertension
When induced by exercise the data gets a little bit murky… for those who state “but it happens anyway” I pull up data showcasing the response regarding cardiac enlargement in response to exercise + AAS vs exercise alone tends to be far, far, far, far, far greater
Did you notice a big difference with 4iu? I’ve heard some guys say 4iu was enough, and others 6-8 to really get some decent size over the course of 6 months.
This probably true. I was looking for fat loss at 4-5 and got it. 2 iu is maintenance level. Anything around 8 -10 is gonna cause pretty significant carpal tunnel pain and is going to be very expensive.
I personally think if you can get some decent HGH and run it for at least 6 months, you’ll be shocked at the results you’ll get. I havent researched the sides as much as I have with AAS but it seems relatively safe.
Ive been running it for around 2 months now and I personally think the results are phenomenal. Im holding water but im getting leaner constantly, I look full, great sleep, great skin, I cant describe the look but everything just looks ‘round’ and aesthetically pleasing. Recovery is up, mood is up, libido great too.
I also started after the results from @studhammer. Im using higher doses however, no carpal tunnel syndrome after the first couple of weeks.

Do you mind me asking what dose? To me it sounds like 6-8 iu is a must for what I’d be looking for. Are you running even higher? If I do end up doing TRT, it could possibly become a go to. I was willing to pay a good deal of money for Primo, but reconsidering with how bad my labs were.
I’d totally consider running it 6 months on / 6 months off assuming it didn’t negatively impact my lipids.
My big concern is at the moment I’m not running TRT, and sounds as though 6 months should really be the minimum for solid gains. That would be a long time to use exo test and then try to recover.
It’s advised to ‘prime’ your body with HGH for prior to using AAS with it (no studies, just experience). So you could for the first 3 months build up tolerance to higher doses (I’m on 7iu) and then for next 3 months use test with it, then use through PCT to maintain gains. I seriously think it could work.

Insane transformation bro! I’m also in a similar position to your before photo running similar dosages
Can I ask how much cardio you were doing while on cycle? And what was your diet like
