I was wondering what is the average intake of carbs of you all on here? I was on the t-dawg diet for a while but I am now moving to a more maintenence diet however after making my meals for the week I calculated that at most I am getting in about 150 g of carbs a day. Is this to little? would this be considered a low-carb diet? Also are there any bad effects in not taking in so many carbs?
I aim to get over 400 on most days.
A maintenance diet for what? What are your goals? Bad? Carbs will help you grow if that’s what you are aiming for.
I’m eating a shedload of carbs, but don’t count them. At the moment it’s oats, bread, rice and 2 bowls of pasta for dinner every day. I’m also going to the gym 5-6 times a week as I usually don’t go very high on carbs, and I want to get the most out of it.
few hundred dropping a bit of fat right now not crazy cut just easing back while injured

To the poster who asked about goals, well I recently cut down from 200lbs to 180 lbs using the t-dawg diet. I am happy with the body I have right now and am focused on putting together a maintenance diet. I was asking if it is healthy to be on a low carb diet for a long time 100-150 g of carbs?
150 to 200, if I go less than 100g for 2 days, I crash hard. Post workout, I use 50g of fts, and all other comes from fruit.

I am doing pretty much the same thing, by following a 1:1 protein-to-carb ration.
I am still following the Anabolic Diet but I am eating towards the maximum CHO limit.
I just started to do 20-reps squats again so I could use the extra carbs.
Di Pasquale states that Anabolic Diet can end up being very similar to the Zone for some people.
