Well this is my first post on this site so, hello to everyone at the T!
K back on topic…
To begin on I’m a clean bulk - 180lbs - 30/30/40 F-C-P
For those who care about these I’m endo-meso
Anyways, I have some pretty intense/heavy workouts whether it be lifting, grappling, crossfit…etc
Only question being I’m a tad confused with post nutri I’ve heard to eat simples for glycogen levels and to avoid fats…just want a clear cut answer
Would appreciate it!
The idea is to take advantage of the anabolic effect of insulin by taking the carbs when you are most depleted (PWO). Some advocate a lower level of dietary fast PWO due to potential splliover that may be caused during the acute influx of carbs.
So, to answer, you keep fat fairly low with carbs being relatively high. As for exact amounts, that depends on your daily calories on the bulk.
Sounds good. I’ve never been one really to
Overload on bananas protein but looks like it wouldn’t be too bad of a plan to start.
Thx for the reply!

If you are adopting the PWO carb approach bananas (or any fruit) would not be a ‘best’ choice for the carb source. They generally do not create the insulin reaction you are looking for.
I will use sweet potatoes from time to time but my staple is Waxy Maize Starch. Good insulin response, no bloating, and great glycogen replenishment.
Hmm never heard of that before. Just might try it now. The banana was just for a simple sugar/easy digested
Carb for the quick replenish I added more too it than just the fruit.
Thx for the replies
