Anyone else experience an increase in carb cravings specifically starches after eating them? Is there a reason for this? For the most part (90%) i get my carbs from veggies and some fruit but, I notice that when I eat bread, rice or any other starch I will begin to crave more. It can get pretty bad.
Yes, definitely. My high carb day I get all my carbs from glucose rich goodness, also the day I am the hungriest. You release insulin, makes you more hungry, spikes the blood sugar, so it is natural. Just gotta deal with it. ![]()

Thatās why ācheat mealā often becomes ācheat dayā (for me, anyway). I like flexible dieting but there is a lot to be said for good old cold abstinence!
