Car Buying

I’m just saying a 95-96 maxima because my friend bought one with 60,000 miles on it a few months ago and it is in great shape but I think he bought it from a really old couple who didn’t drive it much. He paid 5,000 for it but from what you said I guess he got really lucky
Hey thanks Nate Dogg and muslhed1171 for the tips in this thread.

I’ve more or less decided on the Honda Integra, hopefully a 1997 model if not 1998. I thought there was a little bit of a difference between the Acura Integra and the Honda Integra (the Acura models in the late 90’s still have those small round headlights, while Honda has the flat ones which I like).

I’m not really a speed freak, so I’m going to get just a regular Integra (I think thats 1.6 litres) - much cheaper than SiR or Type R.

I also considered the Celica, but after looking at it for a while it just looks a little… metrosexual.

I’m going to try and get a good deal from a private seller in the trade & exchange papers, much cheaper than buying from a dealer here.
Good choice. A 1997 or 1998 will be a good one to get, and you should be able to find one with low mileage as well. I sold my 1998 Integra with 58K miles for $9,000. So you should easily find one like that for even less now.

Yes, there are minor differences, and yours does have the better headlights (IMO). Otherwise, they are pretty much the same.

Let us know how it goes!
