He was talking about actual scientific studies and so was I.
I’m not equating that to a scientific study but rather as a contradiction to your assertion that no one is doing it that way. It is a fairly widely used approach.

You’re almost excluding a whole macro nutrient category - carbohydrates. So your body is never getting what it needs.
You’re only eating one meal a day.
Of course you’re always hungry!!
