I cant seem to get much of a double knee bend in my snatch, im straightening my legs too much and it causes my hips to crash into the bar i think its screwing up my whole snatch. Any tips on how to improve the double knee bend i know its hard to coach (i read this from gregg’s book)
Your shoulders are too far behind the bar, stay over the bar longer until your legs are straight and you begin the second pull. Also practice pulling more vertically. The bar should explode upwards through the hips not bang off them. The main thing to do is stay over the bar more (shoulders in front) whilst keeping your weight over the midfoot.
