While I was out running tonight I thought of you OP and what I did wrong at your age (almost 6 years ago).
I ate like a ecto but I was an endo. As in I didnt respect nutrient timing, etc… As a result I packed on more fat that I needed.
When I was 15 I read over at abcbodybuilding.com by some internet guru Dr. Pain that Cardio was a NO NO in that it ate up too much muscle… Well I didnt like cardio so I was more than happy to abide by that. Well, it’s bullshit. I’ve found Cardio to be extremely important since i’m probably a meso/endo mix. Hence, I hold onto weight easily, both muscle and fat.
So, if I was you:
I’d eat tons of good food during the day, respect the carb cutoffs.
Do cardio 4-5 times a week. An hour is probably too much for a 17 year old, but don’t neglect getting in better cardiovascular condition either… you’ll feel better.
Basically turn your body into a blast furnace. Lift to get stronger, do cardio to get leaner. Eat to get bigger but with respect to your body type.
Work hard brother.
P.S. Please don’t get caught up in the high reps + supersets to get ripped. Just lift hard.
It’s pretty simple. Eating less calories than you burn will make you lose weight, and eating more calories than you burn will make you grow. If you don’t know how to count calories look at the labels.
1 gram of protein = 4 cals
1 gram of carbs = 4 cals
1 gram of fat = 9 cals
I would suggest cleaning up your diet and just train.
I saw your post in the steroids forum. You need to learn how to eat and train before you think about taking steroids. You say you have been only training for 3 years, but 3 years is a decent amount of time. You honestly don’t look like you have trained 3 years, at least not properly.

Hey guys I am 17 yrs. old and have been training for about 3 years now but I cant seem to get rid of my body fat! (I have just recently in the past 3 months started bodybuilding). I have tried doing 35-45 mins of cardio everyday then trying that but only 3 days out of the week and my stomach fat doesnt seem to go away!
I have a good diet in my opinion, I eat 4 - 5 meals a day (its hard for me to eat 6 because of high school and college) and I am working out 5 days a week: Mon, Tues, Wed off, Thurs, Fri, and Sat but I cant seem to figure out how to get the fat to go away!!! I know I have gained a lot of muscle because my body fat % hasnt changed and I jumped from 195 to 212 (with the help of creatine) and it is visible but I am conscious to take my shirt off in front of people because of my stomach and love handles!
Now I just want to let you guys know I am not looking for a magic pill to transform me in 2 weeks or anything but I would like to know how I could get the fat to get away! [/quote]
