Hey I was wondering if anyone on this board was/or still is in the Canadian Army as a Medical Officer If so, please share some of you experiances because I’m 20 years old right now and when I turn 21 I am either going to university to become a doctor or to the army so any info would help alot. Feel free to pm me! ty
When you say that you are going into the Army when you are 21, do you mean you are going in as an NCM or as an officer? You need a degree to become an officer, or you could go to RMC. Either way, good for you for stepping up, and whatever you do, good luck.
I will be going as a NCM.
Ok. Now, do you want to be an Medical Officer, or a Med Tech (NCM)?
I’m confused about what your goals are at the moment.
Oh, and if I were you, I would go to University first. You can join the reserves for now, and that would be a great job for you in the summer. Plus, it would give you a glance at what life is like in the CF. It’s not for everyone, for many reasons. If you do like it, then you can go Full Time.
