Can your real nuerotype be hidden?

Hi Christian,

Do you believe that a persons real neurotype can be obscured by various circumstances such as trauma, bad upbringing, social circle etc.

At my worst in life I’ve felt like a 3, but over the years as I’ve healed, grown and worked through things I seem to be steadily moving left on the neurotype scale. It does fluctuate but less and less as time goes by.

Do you think the neurotype test ever gets it wrong because people may be answering it for a place in their life which is not a true reflection of who they are ?

Thanks

I believe that state of mine and extreme situations can change your neurotype. That change can be permanent (e.g. in the case of PTSD) or transitory (e.g. living a period of very high stress).

I am 1B with PTSD and a stressful life. We already know that body therapies are an important part of the healing process. You have coached so many different people, have you seen a connection between neural charging exercises for each neurotype and healing? such as 1B with explosive exercises, 1A with high-intensity exercises, 2B with exercises focusing on the mind-muscle connection.

Yes @KingAr You are correct, a person’s real neurotype can be hidden by a wide range of factors including trauma, growing up, and societal influence.
As a person recovers, matures, and evolves through life events, their neurotype can change, reflecting changes in their personality, behaviors, and cognitive processes.
