How much u weigh lol
To much lol 89.1kg this morning.pulls are fine but dips might be an issue.
I like anything not bolted down to be over rated too.
The gym I go to/went to has rubbish atmosphere but man do I miss the machines/other equipment, I miss the freedom lol
My gym had a good atmosphere but only because of a few of us that trained there. I think some of the guys have moved on now and probably won’t go back so it may not be as good. I’ll soon see.
There’s big margin for error built in. I’ve pushed some pieces right to the limit like the power tower and is ok. First deadlift jack bent after we exceeded the limit often but that may have been because screws weeent tight enough
I thought things had cleared up for you blokes over the border?
Yep 30+ days with zero but still there are restrictions

Just a short one to fit in between Christmas shopping and dinner.
Everything moved alright, not a whole lot to say about it otherwise.
So haven’t logged in a bit.
Strained my back a little last week but decided it would be ok and took some ibuprofen and thought it would be fine (it was not) managed to get through 7x3 @ 170kg on pause squats but everything else was a challenge.
Went back in Friday and tried to avoid loading my back to much did leg press, incline db bench and some seated rows.
Tried pause squats again today and it was going pretty well, singles at 160kg felt fine so I tried a set of 5.
Something just didn’t feel right after the set of 5 so I did some good mornings instead and wrapped it up.
Going forward I Think I’ll use the Christmas break as a time to avoid loading my back to much and do Machine work instead.
Sunday work out:
Sumo DLs: 5x3 @ 200kg
Incline db bench: 15 @ 20,25,30,35,37.25kg
Accessory:
Leg press and seated cable rows.
Notes:
Things moved well enough.
No issues with the back whatsoever, not sure it’s recovered yet though so will keep the bar off it as planned.
Gym really needs a better selection of bars though.
Monday work out:
Pull ups: 3x6 @ BW
Kettlebell swings: 2x30 @ 20kg
Accessory:
Preacher curls, lateral raises, low to high cable flys and face pulls.

So feeling pretty good at the moment, no issues with the back.
Got some wicked DOMs from using a variety of different equipment.
Got asked if a guys deadlifts were ‘to loud’ today,
Said management had told him he deadlifts to loud…
Which is interesting given that there is a proper platform and I’ve never had anything said to me.
Think the guy just wanted to talk deadlifts really, apparently he saw me pulling sumo yesterday.
That says it all right there…time for a new gym.

Incline Db press: 3x10 @ 37.5kg

Got a quick one in between prepping for Christmas dinner and getting the house ready.
I saw the club manager there last time and I was deadlifting, chalked up. All I got was polite smile and merry Christmas.
Sunday work out:
RDLs: 3x10 @ 150kg
Ng pull ups:5x5 @ BW
Incline Db press: 3x15 @ 35kg
Accessory:
Lateral raises, leg press and face pulls

Was a little bit cautious with dead’s but no back issues so I think it might be fine now.

OHP: 3x10 @ 60kg
BOR: 3x15 @ 80kg

Curls, tricep extensions and face pulls.
