I am 62 yrs old and have been using 1ml of Sustanon 250mg per week on 10 weeks on 4 weeks off cycles. Started using HCG on last cycle (1iu per day mornings before workout). 3 cycles = total lean muscle gain of 5kg. Taking 2iu of Ipamorelin each evening before retiring. Eating as clean as possible = 200gm protein per day, coconut oil,low GI carbs and plenty of liquid.Training 5 days weights and 2 days light cardio and abs. 1 iu CJC1295 with DAC, E2D off cycle to cut and stimulate growth.
I doubt too many posters are or regularly train/train with 62 year olds. I read a study a while back that showed weight training can increase muscle mass and bone density in people up to their 80’s (I don’t think there was anyone in the study over 80), so I suppose yeah, you can get bigger at your age, even without the T replacement. Mainly I just wanted to say it’s impressive you still workout so much, and if that’s you in your pic I can only hope i’ll look that good and be so active at your age. Keep it up.
P.s I know nothing about T replacement/steroids so I won’t even pretend I do.
That should work. But at your age, I don’t see the point of getting off for 4 weeks. Might be better to stay on a TRT baseline then cycle on top of that. Sustanon will reduce your 4 weeks off to something less.
Sust has no advantage over T ethanate or cypionate if you inject those more often. So your choice, might have some cost impact.
Estradiol [E2] can interfere with your energy and T effectiveness. You need E2 labs and dose AI accordingly. Please read the advice for new guys sticky and protocol for injections.
You did not talk about how you feel doing this.
Your gains may be limited by IGF-1 levels at your age. CJC1295 may work, but it may be that your age related decline in GH/IGF-1 is not from a lack of but a lack of the pituitary’s response. If you check IGF-1 levels, you will see if your investment is paying off. It is known that it takes around 6 weeks to notice benefits when hGH is administered to adults who have low IGF-1 levels. So if the CJC1295 is not junk, your pituitary might not deliver. I do think that good IGF-1 levels will be important for your training, if you are deficient.
When IGF-1 increases, your hypothalamus reduces its signal to the pituitary to produce hGH. So if one is making .5 units per day on there own and hGH replacement is introduced, the first .5 units per day of injected hCG does nothing to increase ones IGF-1 level. So the cost/benefit is really there for the deficient, but the numbers are not good for others. There will be some of this effect for you and if you taking just a little bit, the benefits might be zero. Waiting 6 weeks to see if you will feel better is not very useful - again, you need labs.
Please read the stickies, you will find great info there.
