Can I Gain More Muscle by Increasing Big Lifts?

Well I guess in a certain rep range, but consequently I don’t think my 1RM has gone up much either.

I’ll throw some pictures up here at some point tonight.

Just to put this in context…

If some one has the ability to Bench 95lbs for 10 over the course of time they get to a point were they can do 315 x 10 they will if they are a normal human unless they are some strange genetic outlier will by default become allot bigger.

Yea fair enough mate… Assuming I read your comment correctly, I was just under the impression that I may have taken too long to improve and just hit a peak where I couldn’t progress much more.

I would guess you have tons of gains remaining. As much as I hate the term… You probably have not been following a "optimal " diet and lifting approach .

I would even go so far as to say it was not an effective way, let alone optimal.

When I was 6’4 165 I looked like the stick insect from A Bug’s Life, dude. You can absolutely gain a ton more muscle. Go to the training log section and start a log.

I will definitely start a log on here! Any other tips that worked for you other than what has been mentioned in this thread?

Keeping a log alone is super helpful because you can track your progress and be accountable.

Plenty of free resources on this site, and if you want to pursue getting a trainer, you should probably look into somebody who’s at least somewhat familiar with the programs on this site.

Don’t roast me too hard…

Im not sure why you posted pics. It’s not like any one asked to see.

We could tell you’re skinny and need to gain mass by you saying your height and weight. Bodyfat %age doesn’t matter. Just learn to build muscle, then you’ll understand how to maintain it when you have to cut.

I’ll be putting up a training log tomorrow once I get back to the gym… I’ll include nutrition breakdown, details of workout, time spent working out, etc… Thanks for all the guidance.
