Can Anyone Help Me Find a Simple Bulking Program?

Programs are overrated. A monkey can design a basic program.

what I find amusing ,based on what I know… That the majority of people up whom responded up to the point of this remark. Are actually bigger than yourself and have surpassed the numbers you have listed. Not to mention Im guessing surpassing yourself in hands on experience under the bar.

Problem is I feel … most seem to forget basic concepts or never learned in favor of some magic programming.

Here, I’ll give you a program.

Simple Guaranteed Strength and Size.

Google that and add “ThibArmy” to the search and hopefully you find it. It’s a free program on CT’s personal site. It’s under the Blog section, not Programs.

4 days per week.
Upper/Lower split
5 exercises per session
12 weeks of double progression (add volume, add weight, repeat)

It will work if you eat correctly. It also changes reps and loads every four weeks so you won’t get bored.

JMaier spreading the gospel

Well, I don’t care for BBB and this program is about at simple as it gets. OP is talking about information overload so this is my best recommendation. It’s so simple that you want to smack yourself in the head after you’ve done it.

It’s like those V8 drink commercials.

Thanks man I’ll check it out!

Indeed it’s a really high-quality program. I look forward to running it eventually.

Like I said I appreciate there input. But if they are so much better than me I would be more interested in how they trained to get to where they are. I already overcomplicated training no need to make eating hard too

Design a program then if it’s so easy. Name one

Training is idiot proof. The only way you can fuck it up is by reading too much internet nonsense. Go train with big guys in your gym for a couple of months and get off the internet.

Why should I? You are acting like I owe you a favor just because you created a thread.

I’m just challenging you. You do owe me anything lol

Don’t*

Most of us have training logs here. You can easily visit them and see what we currently do and what we’ve done in the past.

Choose 1 main exercise per muscle group.

Use the 531 progression plus FSL(1 set) for this exercise.

Do whatever you want after that.

That’s it.

Go engage a reputable coach after you have achieved enough muscle mass and want to cut down to a considerable level of leaness.

People I know have built competitive level physiques doing something similar. It’s really not complicated.

Yes that is probably the direction I should go. I’m starting to realize this now. Thanks man

When you are in Internetland, don’t waste your time reading about optimal frequency, MPS, strength vs hypertrophy etc. These are of no importance in the mid term to long term.

What you CAN benefit from would be watching videos from established coaches regarding technique and execution of certain exercises to maximize MMC.

Even if you are intending to specialize in the powerlifts, you need a base of muscle to maximize your strenfth potential. So don’t get caught in that trap either.

Why not 20 rep squats per my original suggestion?

Trying to work on the upper body a little more at the moment. I have always wanted to try it though it looks like good stuff

Your upper body should grow pretty well on it. Even if the rib box expansion is bunk, you train the upperbody hard too.

Building the Monolith is solid too. Deep Water looks pretty cool too.
